This is my first time. I’m in the stone oak location. It says that they open at 8:00 am and I’ve been waiting for 20 minutes and still closed. Surely I will not to come back.

Plain Jane hole in the wall type of place. Nothing fancy, but who cares? The service is very good and the tamales always exceed excellent.

So I ordered 2 dozen tamales. The first dozen was jalapeño and cheese. The second dozen was supposed to be spicy tortilla chicken and cheese tamales. Well apparently they were out of the spicy ones so they quadruple wrapped the regular Tom, chicken and cheese tamales with the spicy chicken tamale package and sent them to me like that.

Good reliable Delicious Tamales. There is a reason they've been around since forever. Can't go wrong with Delicious Tamales. Also, there is never a wait at this location.

They need to correct the hours on the website. On website it stated it was open on Saturdays and Sundays. On the door it says closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Please correct the website as this causes an inconvenience to the customer.

It has been several years since I bought tamales here. What a let down. There wasn’t enough masa on these tamales! The meat was exposed and the tamale completely fell apart when the corn husk was removed. The flavor was good but I don’t think I would buy these again.

The dozen pork jalapeño tamales we purchased were small/thin, mostly masa and had very little filling. It was disappointmenting and we will not go back.

My old tamale place shut down, so I went to Delicious Tamales this year for my Holiday tamales. They were good, but I feel like they were pretty small. The corn husks are the normal size, and then at least the pork & jalapeno and bean & cheese tamales were only like half the size of the corn husk. Maybe this is normal? It's just not something I'm used to from other places. They tasted good and I got plenty of good comments, so I really can't complain too much ...The store is pretty small, certainly nothing special and I feel like the process could be a lot more efficient than it is, even for the pre-orders.

The lady at the counter’s attitude was somehow even worse than her teeth. Horrible customer service. We placed an order a few weeks ago and were told to pick up at 2pm today. We showed up at 2pm on the dot and the rude woman told us we were two hours late. Apparently, she said “they called everyone” and told them to pick up at noon. I never received a call or else I would have absolutely showed up earlier. The fact that the lady felt the need to push her disgusting attitude on us, is ridiculous. Even worse, she threatened to not let us pick up the order without the confirmation number, which we clearly had (along with the 2pm pickup time instructions)She then proceeded to get mad at us because she had to “clean up this entire store” as if we were bothering her by ordering tamales from a place called Delicious Tamales. Just flat out rude and disrespectful customer service.

Oh my god. Bean tamales were so badFirst time I got them. Never again. Beans taste like can beans. Super dry. And expensive 1100 dollars Don’t waste your money.
