Forget the “other” places for your tamales! Worth the drive. Authentic old fashion taste and size. No skimpy ukky tasting tamales here.!! Fast Friendly service. I drive clear across the city and bypass 4 other brands of tamales stores plus the other one up the street. Best source for that family reunion.
Their Tamales are so delicious and the customer service is excellent. I always get to meet the owners Jesse and his wife Ruth and they told me if I am going to be arriving about 5 -10 minutes to closing time because I am coming from out of town to pick up some tamales for me to call and they will wait until I arrive. ?
I am a bit surprised by some of these reviews. I bought 2 dozen pork today and just ate 6 and gave them 3 1/2 but closer to 4 stars. There was a 20 minute wait at Rubens, so I drove down the street to this place. Will I ever go back? Sure, if Rubens ever has another wait time, I will drive 2 minutes down the street to this place for a tamale no better or worse than what I get from Rubens. For the most part, the 210 has good tamales.
