This restaurant and flying J truck stop /travel center burned down. I stop there to pick up my finacé. Ample truck ? parking for truckers still, but that's it. The service repair shop is open for those that need service. No fuel is available at this stop for now.

It's gone y'all. It and the Flying J burned down on 12/1/2022. You can park your truck (for now), but there is no fuel or amenities.

Nice location despite being attached to a truck stop. Very nice inside, servers were attentive and frequently checked on us. Food was good for the most part, ordered chicken fried steak and eggs. Steak was nothing more than a store bought frozen patty, dissapointing. But everything else tasted fresh.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu and crayons ?

I used to be a regular diner coming twice a week for takeout. Everyone who has been there a while including the cook knows my face & always greets me. However, 3 weekends ago, I stopped in for the Sirloin, I paid ahead of time & tipped $3 to the waitress like I always do but with 1 simple request; That the steak be a thin cut<. What I received instead, was the thickest, grisliest piece of meat they could find loaded with fat on the inside. Worst meal to date. I said nothing at the time when I saw what they had served me because I didn't want to create a scene in the establishment. Instead I called and asked the waitress why I gave her a $3 tip for? She offered to transfer me to her manager but I declined to speak to her so not to create the sure conflict that would follow. When the cook- wears glasses/ came to the front & recognized me, he quickly dropped his head and went into the back without greeting me as I stood there staring into the takeout bag shaking my head. He knew he had messed up. I haven't been back since which is why I decided to post this review because people should know what can happen when you ask for something & the cook is not in a good mood which can be a lot of times from my experience. I've even stood between them & angry customers in the past (twice)-(bald server & the cook) because they were rude to them.

Great service and just overall customer appreciation from Melissa. I'm having a horrible day and she cheered me right up. The food was delicious as always and brought out in mere minutes I will def be stopping here again next time through town just because of Melissa.

Oct-26. 6:30p , 1 star for cleanliness, 1 star for quick cook , 1 star for good food, 0 stars for customer service.1 customer and myself , 5 employees at the bar. My server eating , on the phone and talking to the other employee while her back towards me . I had to stand up for a coke refill . She came to the table with an attitude to give the bill , a little more frustrated she would have might as well throw the bill on the table .

Dairys was great! Best service in a long time.... She was very polite and checked on us often but not too much. Husband's burger was excellent, my chicken addiction bowl was missing broccoli but still good. (probably should mention when ordered) got corn instead and I got the last piece of chicken. Sweet tea was perfect! Thank you!

As I sat waiting for my to-go order, I gave this restaurant four stars. The man that took my order was very attentive, friendly and professional. The place looked clean, well lit and smelled like yummy food.I have changed my rating to two stars and maybe I am being a bit rash with that big of a drop. No, remembering now of my departure from Dwnny's I know that it if just.I ordered a slam, 2 eggs, 2 meats, 2 pancakes and hash browns. No substitution other than I asked for the bacon and sausage to be put in a separate container.My meal to 27 minutes from the time I ordered until I was handed my food. Then I had to wait for someone to check me out. When the I asked if 30 minutes was a normal wait time on a to-go, the person ignored me. I then asked how long the it took to make the meal I ordered and she informed me that 10 minutes was the usual wait time. I followed with "So thirty minutes is pretty crazy, right?" She ignored me again. Then I asked her if so was ignoring me and she said that I needed to swipe my card. Mind you, I was calm. I was not being loud or rude but I was getting pretty angry at this point. The place was practically empty. Someone should of come to tell me that my order was taking a little extra time and maybe asked if I would care for a drink. No one said a thing to me and now this person was completely ignoring me as she stood two feet in front of me. I ask why she was ignoring me and she she replied that yes, 30 minutes was a long time.As I walked out, the man that took my order also walked out of the restaurant. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the wait and was told, with an appoligy, that it was because they were slow. As I walked away (speechless) he yelled another appoligy and told me that his staff was recovering from the busy shift this morning.What? Ok, I can't begin to understand how it would be ok for me to wait an extra 20 minutes because the staff was busy an hour or more before I got there.My scrambled eggs were still a little wet/runny on top, the potatoes were greasey and they must not of cleaned the grill after the busy breakfast shift because my pancakes had bits of black stuff cooked onto them. My dog ate the pork, it appeared to be to his liking.Overall, the food was ok. Nothing so bad that I would of written a bad review. The 30 minutes I waited for the food was annoying but didn't do much harm to me or to the structure of my day. The thing that set me off, caused me to write a detailed, excessively long review was how the staff responded to me, a dissatisfied customer and then a frustration customer and as I walked to my truck, an angry, bewildered and very hungry customer.*UPDATE - Thos location is currently, very understaffed. Some nights I've seen it operate with only to-go orders being taken and other nights they have been closed all together.

Rose was amazing. Close to closing when we arrived and because we are from austin she still sat us. Had food to us in less then 15 mins. Order was perfect. Her attitude and helpfulness is beyond customer service. Thank you for making tonight the best!!

Great restaurant. Very clean and well maintained. The staff is great, never had to wait for a refill. Food was hot and delicious.

Lovely store and atmosphere!!! All the waitresses are really nice, and have a perfect amount of attentiveness. My friend and I had fantastic food and drinks ( will recommend the hot chocolate). And their store was very clean not Any dirt in sight

We’ve been to this location quite a few times, usually for a late breakfast. The food has always been good and the wait staff, for the most part, were friendly and took care of us well. Our waitress today took care of us well but was not outwardly friendly. Maybe she was having a bad day.

Friendly service, a clean environment, good food and conveniently jointly located with a truck stop convenience store. If you're looking for a good meal at a reasonable price, Denny's delivers here at this location! I tried the brisket sandwich and it's delicious!
