This was a VERY big event. The food was tasty but slow moving line. Overall ok but not great.

I worked at Don strange from Monday through wednesday On the first day of working i encountered green spoiled eggs 🥚 that were brought to the mgr attention which her response was to crack in a separate bowl and use the ones not green instead of throwing the whole batch away . She was more concerned about getting the product out in a timely manner than the quality of the product. This employer even treated her employees bad. By making them work in a very hot environment.

Absolutely amazing!! They handled our drinks and dinner of 100 guests easily, professionally, and were able to be flexible with some last minute changes. The food was great!! Highly suggest the white chicken appetizer, I think it was most popular. Brisket was cooked perfectly, and had amazing flavor. I highly recommend them if you have need for a caterer. We were able to hold our dinner within The Alamo and stay within budget.Thanks again!!
I used Don Strange for catering and bar for a company event for ~300 people last week and I was extremely happy with the quality of communication, service, set up, and food! This was a quick turnaround to complete and they made it so easy! I highly recommend using them for your next event. Everyone raved about the food but especially the beef Wellington and gorditas!

I cannot say enough great things about Don Strange of Texas! We recently had them cater 2 parties and both events went flawlessly! Breanna came to our location ahead of time and came up with excellent ideas for table and activity placement that I would not have thought of. Blair, Kennan, Andre and Tiffany worked the events and took care of absolutely everything for us. They come in hours before the event and get everything situated in plenty of time. They even decorate! I was able to enjoy my parties without any worry or stress. I will never host another party without hiring Don Strange.
Don Strange catered a company dinner for us and did an amazing job! Di-Anna guided us through menu and decor selections leading up to the event and made all necessary changes without hesitation. The staff on event day was extremely professional and courteous. They delivered top notch service and were so respectful of our home. Lights and Christmas drive in movie were great (we bought tickets in advance). The drive in is the first entrance, the lights are the second. There is a restroom at next to the drive in and one at Santa's stop. Both have large their "barn doors" open to ensure airflow. Which seems like a good solution between indoor and outdoor for COVID concerns.The movie has a snack table that we walked by.The lights are fun and driving through the light tunnels was fun. Santa's stop had several stations: cocoa, nuts, socks, snacks/candies/popcorn, etc. Santa and Mrs. Claus were in the middle back people were considerate of social distancing and as mentioned earlier the air flow was good.The staff was nice, courteous and helpful.

We just had the most wonderful Thanksgiving dinner prepared by Don Strange of Texas. We had a small group of people and the turkey with sweet potatoes, Yukon potatoes, and stuffing was perfect. The green beans with peppers and onions was divine. We ordered the pecan pie as an extra and we made a great choice! We are hoping you will let us order for Christmas as well. Let us know when we need to place our order.

Between the food and customer service, Don Strange was one of our most favorite vendors. They were the first vendor we booked following the venue and worked with us for the full year to ensure everything was perfect. There were an unfortunate slew of issues caused by the venue and the Don Strange staff, including Di-Anna and Kathy, were open and communicative with me and worked with me while I resolved it. Our wedding guests raved about the food which consisted of brisket, sausage, corn soufflé, loaded mashed potatoes, green beans, and so much more. We can highly recommend booking with them for your event!!
