The barbacoa is good, the beans are good and the tortillas are good. But I saw they charged 3 bucks for an avocado and that's way too much. But at heb. They can have their produce for that price. They're not even big. There's places with same prices for BBQ, so shop around. The way this ridiculous economy is, you have to watch your budget.
This place has the best tamales in San Antonio! I’ve been a customer for years and so has my family. We recently came to get tamales for Christmas and they did not disappoint. My whole family loved them and so did the kids. This place has super friendly staff and you can tell they are always working hard and fast behind the counter. They came through on Christmas Eve when other molinos were closed. They had tamales. Walk in only. The pork were tasty, not the best, but good enough to buy again. The chicken with jalapeño had no meat. And all (pork and chicken) were very very small tamales. Finger food. Not worth the 12.99/dz. Oh, and half the of the “dozens” that I bought only had 11 tamales in them. Sneaky sneaky!!
