We had reservations at 7 on Saturday and we're a bit put off that it was empty and they didn't seem ready for service,but we got seated and more people showed up. All the food and service was great. A weird thing we all thought is the lighting is awful,spotlights way up,like a diner. They need a light expert to come in and make it warmer and cozy.

Edwin, Edwin, Edwin. You sir are a rockstar!! We made reservations to celebrate an anniversary. It was our 2nd time visiting San Antonio and wanted to try something different. I found this restaurants but was rather difficult to locate. It's inside of a hotel but I didn't see any signage for it. The valet to the hotel lead us inside where, Emily, the hostess directed us to the restaurant. We had the option to sit anywhere, as it was a slow night. We sat outdoors. Edwin was our waiter and he did a phenomenal job. We ordered, ate and had a wonderful time. Towards the end, our waiter wasn't coming as frequently as before then we noticed the restaurant got full. He had a tabletop of 8 people and a bunch of other small ones. It turns out he was the only one working for that shift. Even tho he was slammed, he still took the time to bring us a complimentary dessert. That was awesome! Definitely recommend visiting here. Bravo Edwin, bravo.

This was a classic example of Nobody Wants to Work Vibe. I hardly write bad reviews, but the service here was very uncomfortable and extremely terrible. You won’t be greeted by friendly smiles or hi/how are you or would you like to be seated indoors/outdoors. It wasn’t busy at all and there appears to be only 2 servers on staff.
The 1st server takes us directly to indoor seating (we were the only table inside and there were a few tables outside) and said another server would be with us. She then takes another couple back near us and immediately gets their drinks/orders in. We sat looking to see who would come to us. She then tells the 2nd server that he has our table. He says out loud he has 3 tables outside already. He still refuses to come to our table and walked past our table to go outside multiple times too. Finally it appears a manager walked by and she took our order. When he saw the manager taking our order, he finally stops by, but still never said a word to us and walked away. Later, the 1st server brings out our food and my husband tipped her $20 cash. Because we never saw our server nor know who our server was. Terrible service. And to top it off, there was a fruit fly on our avocado toast…

The apps took over 30 min to get had the bed bites and the mozerellla cheese. For what it worth it was a full with only one server. The beef in the bites was though and dry, the mozerellla was tart. I had hopes for this place i would've like to come back..

We ordered appetizer, never received it. Initial order was fast and rest of the food was good. Never were asked for another drink or refills. Took a long time for waiter to come back to us. The hostess was great, she had to go get our waiter 2 times after she asked us if we needed him.
We really enjoyed the appetizer empanadas, the HUGE octopus salad and the braised lamb shank, along with Alta Vista Malbec. Antonio provided great, courteous service on a busy evening as did other staff members.

Enjoyed the Christmas light parade on the terrace with a fixed menu! The food was absolutely fantastic!!!

As an Argentinian, I felt disappointed. I came expecting authentic dishes from my country, but there were none. This place advertises itself as an Argentine restaurant, but it truly isn’t. Very disappointing.

I loved how they checked on us often enough, but gave us the privacy to enjoy our meal & conversation. Even the seating was comfortable. I just really enjoyed the vibe and how good it smelled just walking into the hotel itself.
