I recently dined at dosa city, and it was an exceptional experience! The ambiance was inviting, the service was attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. From starters to desserts, each dish was crafted with care and packed with flavor. I highly recommend trying their butter chicken , it was a true delight! Overall, a fantastic restaurant that I can't wait to visit again.

I had lunch buffet today and was excellent. Different management. I liked the taste of all food. Worth for the price.

One of the Indian place that is open for breakfast, I think that is why I went there (since I was visiting town).Food: We ordered the following and I am stating the experience for each dish, hope it helps:Ghee Dosa -> goodMedhu Vada -> way too oilyRava Onion Dosa -> goodUtapam -> Batter was rawFilter Coffee -> Just for the name, felt like regular black coffeeService: Only one server and the service was way slow. I suggest if you plan on going here keep at-least 1.5 hrs on your schedule.

Proper dosa in San Antonio! The only place I have had dosa in town stopped making it. I was pleasantly surprised to stumble across this place. Ordered Mysore Masala Dosa. Some of the best I have had. Fantastic. I will be back to explore the menu.

Good food and service fresh food made when ordered. Ambiance is not bad and given in disposable plates.

Worst food and worst dosa ever tasted. I tried Plain dosa, I couldn't eat a bite. It's too soar. Wasted my money there. I had to throw it away. Sides for dosa also smelly.

I have been here twice, and on both occasions there has been a pattern of menu items being unavailable and poor service. On our first visit, we had to list 4 items from the menu before we reached an item that was available. On the second visit we attempted to order 8 items before finding something available. Of the numerous non-veg curries listed on the menu, only 2 were available on our second visit, and they were strikingly similar. None of the biryanis have been available on each occasion. There have been no non-chicken meat dishes available either time. I am fairly certain that in each of the two non-veg curried we ordered that there was no more than one chicken thigh in the entire dish ($14 dishes). We were given 2 spoons to eat with for a party of 4, and a drink was only brought for one of the 4 members of our party 20 minutes into the meal. It was not the drink that person had ordered. The butter chicken was delicious on the first visit, but it was not available on the second visit.

Worst Indian food that we have ever had. We ordered thali which had very watery three curries, a Costco’s tortilla that was roasted like a papad, watery raitha, rasagulla from tin and a papad. Thali rice was served in a paper plate and other items in plastic cups. One thali is $14.99. We will not go to this place again. I’m giving one star else I can’t post in Google reviews.

We had gone to this place a year or two ago and had liked the food. But this time food was terrible. Some of the food seemed like some leftovers (hopefully not). Couple of Items we ordered we did not even attempt to finish.

PLEASE DONT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!!!!We had such a horrible experience at this restaurant. When we walked in, there was no one to greet us or show us to a table, the owners kids were walking around and a little girl made us sit at a table. It took good 25 min for someone to come and take the order. It took another 30 min for for the first orde to come. The dosa was too huge for the plate and the potato curry inside the dosa was cold, I have never seen moong dal in potato curry. The sambar was so horrible, the dal was not even cooked. The noodles we ordered had too much black pepper and tons of cabbage, we couldn’t even eat 3 spoons of it. The waiter that was taking our order couldn’t understand anything we were saying or asking. Very horrible food and horrible surroundings. The bathroom was another story, it was stinking horribly, if you go after your meal, you will surely throw up!!! There was no soap or paper towel in the bathroom! Overall I wouldn’t recommend anyone to this restaurant, better off getting Subway!

The most authentic Indian food I've had in years. Especially if you're looking for south Indian food, which a lot of Indian restaurants don't have. This is a hole in the wall gem. I'm glad I found it today. Don't expect anything fancy; expect real home-cooked taste at a reasonable price, in a place playing south Indian TV and where your water options are "normal water" and "cold water." The food tasted like my mom's cooking. Highly recommend.

We ordered masala dosa, spring masala dosa, medu vada, prawn pakora. Pakora and medu vada were average, prawns half cooked. Dosas were the worst. The curry in the masala dosa was cold and stale. It had a rotten taste. We ended up throwing the food. Also, when we asked the owner, she admitted the masala in the dosa is stale and didn't charge us for the dosas.

Done judge a book by it’s cover. Dosas are amazing. Idli was good, vada was alright. It’s a small restaurant, the location is not the most apt, the server has some communication problem. However, the food is must try. Good south Asian cuisine

Excellent dosas and mango lassi. My favorite is the Mysore masala Dosa. Lots of other south Indian dishes I'm not familiar with look quite good.

Cook off his rails or meds...gotta let 'em have it. I like this place. So when they do poorly, I gotta let 'em have it equally.Probably a new cook, who I haven't seen before with the owners. Had completely lost it today.Worst meal ever. Ordered a Rava onion masala dosa. Dude comes with 40-50 whole black peppers which we had to pick around to eat. And we were forced to pick and munch because it takes time to make something else instead.I know when you reheat frozen store bought food. You're not fooling anyone. Worst samosa, followed by random boiled and dunked butter chicken masala.Just have to be picky about what you order and when you order. This place was plan B today and it failed miserably. Ordered desert to get over the spice heat, and the genius took another 15 mins after a main dish to serve that.
