We had just flown into town on a Saturday evening and were looking for GOOD pizza with the kids.
We stupidly just drove here thinking we could stop in, not realizing we needed reservations and the wait without was TWO hours.
We put in a to go order which only took 20 min?
The pizza was really good.
I got a salad and I think it would have been great fresh at the restaurant.
It didn’t travel well.
This is a sit down restaurant, not a to go order place.
Would love to go again but get a chance to sit inside.

The food is excellent here. Each time we visit we bring new people. They've all been very impressed.

We did a takeout order of two cupping pepperoni pizzas and an order of cheese fontina bread. The flavors were great but the pizza was way undercooked. Really doughy/raw in some areas. Maybe it was supposed to be like that, but we weren’t huge fans. Especially when you pick up a slice and literally all your toppings fall off. Such a bummer because the flavors were so nice. Also for the price (around $86 after tip) my expectation was much higher.

My family arrived at this location 3/16/25 more then an hour before closing. We asked how long for a party of 6 and were informed it was 1.5 hours. The restuarant at this time was only about 1/3 full. Another family came up right after us and had the same experience. It really felt like the staff were more interested in getting home then serving customers.

Decided to host my spouses birthday party here for him and his family. I thought this place would be perfect and considering I’ve been to their other location (which is way better and totally recommend the blanco/ castle hills location, it’s much better overall) I placed a reservation weeks in advance but the restaurant did not make this evening feel very special at all. The location of our table felt really odd for a bigger party. It felt like the server didn’t even know what the occasion was and was not very warm until mentioning I was hosting so I’d be picking up the check. Just lack of communication from the management I believe. I was really expecting more to be done to make my spouses evening feel special but I don’t think this is that type of place. Wouldn’t recommend if looking for an elevated dining experience.

The server we had was actually very nice and personable. However there were some hiccups that I don't believe was his fault.

1st, host stand. I came with my young daughters. We were greeted at the host stand after being ignored while the hostess and another employee were having a conversation. The greeting was "We are on a 45 minute wait" no hello, welcome, etc.

Once seated the friendly and hospitable server turned around the 1st impression. However, I watched our appetizers hit the table next to us. They said it wasn't theirs and the food was sent to the back. I mentioned it to our server who apologized and later on the apps arrived after about 30 minutes from ordering. Then our main course came 2 minutes after the apps. I didn't want the pizza sent back to get cold so we made room on the table and never really got to enjoy our appetizers. It was a but disappointing to wait so long and then be rushed.

The server let us know dessert was on the house but I already promised my kids churros afterward down the street so i declined. To me, offering dessert and no manager stoping by the table is the most insincere fix to this problem. I paid gull price, tipped accordingly and left disappointed.

The pizza was good, excellent cheese and sauce. I can't rate our apps because they were cold when we tried them.

Overall it disappoints me when I see a server trying hard to please guests but they clearly dont have managers support. That's what I feel was happening here, lazy management.

Popped in last night for some food after a long day of walking.
The restaurant was busy which is always a good sign.
We shared the anti pasti and a pizza, chose to sit outside as the ac was on the chilly side but outside they had some fans blowing which made it too cold/windy.
If the pizza had of been crispy I would have given 5 out of 5.

I can’t review the food, the atmosphere, or the service since we couldn’t eat here. We were advised a 35-45 minute wait to enter since we didn’t have a reservation, which we were okay with, but those 45 minutes turned into an extra 5-10. Fine, we waited an additional 20 minutes wanting to give this place a chance. By the time we asked a third time what the time expectancy was, we were then told than it would be an additional 20 minutes. I don’t mind the wait time, what I am upset about is the lack of transparency from the beginning. The lack of staff is understanding, and us not having a reservation is understood for a longer wait time, but having waited already an hour and ten minutes to then be told that it would take more time is very discouraging and not very good business practices. Simply some transparency is appreciated with enough time.

Do you want to spend over 100 dollars for some slightly above average pizza and drinks that take themselves too seriously? I mean look, was the pizza good? Yes, was my drink, helllll no. Had that back of the mouth sour taste like after you vomit. Staff was great… but it’s pizza.. if you want to feel fancy while eating pizza, go for it.

We love coming here the once or twice a year we are in town and were excited to bring our family this time since we have a new baby. However, upon entering, I was told I could not bring my stroller in so it had to be left at the front. This was really nerve-wracking for me, being that we walked to the restaurant, and we had things stored in the stroller, and the car seat strapped into the stroller. Nonetheless, we took the car seat out and took everything out of the bottom and folded the stroller to shove it in a very small space at the front where it still stuck out. Then right after that, we were asked to move by another waiter so he could get to something he needed. Then we were taken to the back to our table, where there was plenty of space we could have stored our stroller and it would have been more out of the way than it was in front. I have never felt more unwelcome and frazzled in a restaurant before. It’s 2025 and it’s so disappointing to me that we are making new mothers feel that way and not being more family-inclusive. I don’t think we will be making it a point to eat here every trip like we normally do.

Somewhat noisy in the small dinning area. I love that the kids get their own dough to play with and bake.

Super cute spot. The pizza wasn’t as good as expected. It was a bit “floppy”. Might go back to try some appetizers.

Pizza was a nasty ass pizza I’ve had, over priced for raw dough and everything just falls off the pizza. absolutely ridiculous. If this is what they are happy serving , I don’t know how they do not have worse reviews.

Lovely spot downtown! The pizza and salad were so yummy. The staff was absolutely lovely and very accommodating to our 6 and 2 year old kiddos! Will definitely be coming back
