Chef Waldo is over qualified to be a chef here in San Antonio. From working in the biggest hotels in the world cooking authentic South American food, to cooking for hundreds of orphans. His love for feeding others goes beyond expectations when you’re sat with a greeting of open arms. The comfort of his welcome only grows when you taste the food he puts so much effort into. The quality doesn’t even begin to explain how fresh every bite is. He was growing his own produce before it was “hip”. Not to mention he donates most his time and money to feed single mothers and orphans. I hope this review opens the gate that everyone else has been keeping. EVERYONE NEEDS TO TRY THIS FOOD ONCE IN THEIR LIFE!!!( But I promise you’ll be back many times, like myself, and those I’ve introduced to his genius.)

Dietary restrictions: He can meet all your dietary needs.

Parking: Hidden gem hiding in plain site

I love this place because of the flavor of the food, I felt like I was tasting the food from where it originated and Chef Waldito made me and my family feel very welcomed. It was my first time in this little restaurant, and I was blown away by the food and service. Chef Waldo asked us what we wanted and when we gave him a blank stare he took over and took care of us. Chef Waldo brought out some of the most visually stunning and best tasty food I have had here in San Antonio. I would highly recommend El Ceviche De Waldito and will definitely be going back

Went with my parents for a late lunch this weekend. We didn't have to wait to be served, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the chicken.

Where do I begin on this review? Well like every good story from the beginning! This restaurant and the man who works so hard to run it Waldo have all my respect and appreciation. The food simply put were perfect! The dishes this man cooks are with love not just for his love of cooking but with love to see the his guests happy. Like your favorite dish your mom would make for your as a child to see you smile. Waldo you cooked me a dish I only get when I go home to visit my family. A dish that not only fills your stomach but a plate that feeds the soul! Waldo is beyond humble behind the walls of this establishment. He alone is worth a visit. I encourage everyone to bring someone with them share the in experience here! One cannot explain in words how satisfied you'll leave here, you just have to go.

Thank you Waldo! May God bless you always.

Tucked in away from all the chain restaurants you will find chef Waldo that will whip you up a great meal for a reasonable price. When you are dining he will converse with you and make you feel at home with some comfort food. Great experience
