Where do I begin? This place has been one of my favourites for at least 7 years. Because I live out of town and get to visit only once or twice a year, anticipation heightens my memories and expectations. Never once has El Jalisco let me down.Consistently outstanding food and service. I always eat breakfast there when I'm in town and sometimes lunch. Since I'm eating some of the foods over and over again, over a period of years, I can attest that the quality never wavers. The service is on par with nicer restaurants where the staff is well trained in table service as well as customer service.The dining area and restrooms are spotlessly clean. One waitress was wiping down clean tables this morning and quietly singing along to the music playing in the restaurant. The music is very nice and never too loud. Yesterday they turned it down even lower because my papa has hearing aids was was having trouble hearing over the music. I love the high-backed quiet booths and long tables for large families to sit together and enjoy a meal.I throughly enjoyed the barbacoa taco on corn tortilla this morning with lime, onions, and cilantro. I stop and lay the taco down between each bite so I can savour the unctuous shredded meat with the crunch of onion, sour lime, and bite of the red salsa. The second taco was refrito, also on corn tortilla because they are outstanding, because I always have beans for breakfast. This made my belly so happy!!

Our lunch group from church eats here from time to time. Prices are reasonable, service is always outstanding, and the food is delicious. My favorite is the enchiladas en mole. Highly recommend!

UPDATE: Jan 3, 2024 - Manager has already begun the reimbursement for the charge over the holiday shutdown. Greatly appreciated and the conversation with the person who answered early in the morning was very professional. My only suggestion to the restaurant would be to have a notice on the website for closings.Dec 29th: Ordered online and showed up at the restaurant to find out they were closed. Hoping to get my money back but not sure what's gonna come off it. Here's hoping. If I don't get refunded then this is a lost customer who really liked this place.
Food is amazing! Food is a bit pricey however has tons of flavor, good portions, and the queso is to die for! Staff is friendly and kind. I would highly recommend the queso and one of their molcajetes which they are known for…if you eat 2 tacos and are full one of these will feed 2 people, big portions. ❤️

I walked in it was dead understandable at 4pm but then the fact that my order took 30+ minutes to be ready when I'm the only one there. Then when it did finally came out I thought someone cooled it off for a child it was room temperature. Offered no refill and no one wondered how if I was enjoying my 30 minute order of room temperature food. Will never go back.

The Food was Good, but in all fairness I only had 1 taco. The Staff was very friendly and kind. The service was really fast. The atmosphere lighting was a little to dark for me, but I am older and find it hard to see in law lighting. The place was really clean. They have really nice-looking tables. This place can support a large party. The restroom was only a 1 person at a time area.The parking lot is small, and very few packing spots are available. I really liked their selection of menu items and plan to come back and Dine in.Wheelchair accessibility: Front door Handicap Parking.
