Was sus of the 4.8 stars - highest rating of any place in the area when we looked for breakfast. But this place lived up. Bean/bacon and potato/egg breakfast tacos were excellent. Barbacoa/eggs breakfast plate was delicious, lots of food for the price. All delivered piping hot. Looked like the flour tortillas were store-bought [but still quality]. Overall excellent experience for a traditional San Antonio breakfast!

Good experience overall but I didn't get exactly what I ordered. I asked for eggs over medium and received them fully cooked. They did remake them and they were better but not over medium. The pork chop was flavorful and cooked perfectly the flour tortillas seemed like they came from HEB.

So glad I found an RGV inspired Mexican Restaurant in SA! Best bacon and egg with chorizo beans taco I've had in San Antonio! Matamoros tacos were delicious and can't wait to try their Chilaquiles Verde plato next week! The family owned staff are very friendly and provide excellent service!

My grandpa comes here every morning for breakfast. The food is good, the customer service is always on point. On the times that I do get to join my grandpa for those breakfast meals I always feel right at home. They let us host his birthday party here with a prefixed menu. It was such a great day with us all able to break bread . We had the whole restaurant to ourselves and they catered to our every need. If you are looking to support a small family owned business this is your spot. Breakfast tacos hit the spot! Where I live it’s hard to find Nopalitos, so was happy to see them on the menu. Everything was good and the fresh tortillas were so good!
