Sometimes I wonder about the authenticity of what the signs say such as: 100% authentic mexican (as was stated online.) Yet Upon arrival I find it to be, by many accounts, not so. Not necessarily a problem as long as they deliver on the product. To that I will state that my potato & egg taco on flour was good, just didn't look it and my bean & cheese was okay - I prefer american cheese over cheddar (it melts better.) The green hot sauce tasted a bit sour as if it was going bad.So tortillas looked a little weird, the sauce was not so good. All this said the flavor of both beans & cheese & the potato & eggs was generally good. Wouldn't do again though.?

According to the staff, this place was recently acquired & the menu has not been redone. Therefore, their origin is questionable. So some of the photos on the web are not served or are not of the new owners. They are not the original owners. The Authentic Mexican in the name is questionable in my opinion. My Enchiladas Mexicanas were OK, they needed more sauce & potatoes & no carrots, (were a bit dry), beans were good, rice was run of the mill like any other restaurant that doesn't claim to be authentic Mexican. They had no avocado. They use cheddar not American. The green sauce was going bad. We will not return. The staff needs to clever up if they intend to stay afloat (Se pasan de vivos).

Delicious chilaquiles rojos. Authentic sauce. As spicy as you want them. Fresh cheese. ♥️

From the food to the waitresses, very authentic, not too expensive.

A gem in west side San Antonio. Fresh ingredients with a rotating lunch special and friendly service. One of my new favorite lunch spots.

Went with company for Nurses week. With co workers. One co worker went ahead to save table as you know you only get one hour to eat. Was waiting for co workers was seated. 10 minutes into wait waitress asked for my co worker to get up and wait again since the rest had not come as they needed the table cuz it was lunch. There was no one waiting in line and there were empty tables around. This family owned neighborhood restaurant with good food is not as humble as they use to be. They are working on a new restaurant I hope they realize there service needs much improvement. Yelling from across the room at someone about needing you to move from a table can be embarrassing. For a large table you stand to make more money than a table for 2/4. Our bill was close to 100.00

We are staying at Hyatt Wild Oak Ranch and was looking for a breakfast place. Looking for a local place. Saw Sazon online and it looked good. Had a little wait. The food and service was excellent. The prices are very good.. Will go there again
