Best Carne Guisada Tacos. I wish I could get their recipe cause that is the authentic carne guisada!! I had not found good carne guisada since I was a kid living at the Victoria Courts and going to Chita's restaurant on Labor st. to get tacos. When we go to San Antonio, thats the first place we go to eat breakfast.
In my opinion, the tortillas at El Sol are the best in the city. They are cooked through, not gummy or pasty. They are so good. The food here is flavorful. Their iced Tea is clean and crisp. Definitely recommend ?
Been going here since I was a little girl and my family has come here almost every other weekend for the past 30 years. Couldn't recommend a better place to eat with your family. The salsa is on point, the tortillas are on point, they are the only place I trust ordering menudo with, and I have NEVER had a bad experience. I highly recommend the machacado taco!
