Went to the one on bandera the food is good, But the service we received today was not a good one, the young lady that took are order was just a very unhappy person. They were not busy at all it was just me and my daughter. She was rude to my 8 yr old that wanted to order mini taco 🌮 for herself , so I told what she had to say and wrote it down so she can read it is she forgets (😁). The young man the is usually their is so friendly and gives very good customer service ....
I'm glad new owners took over this restaurant. It's a great place for breakfast when I go visit my mom. They have the best tacos on the southside! The staff is always friendly and the coffee is very good!
I moved from California and I'm so used to authentic Mexican food. Most Mexican restaurants I've tried in San Antonio have that Tex-Mex style and just does not meet my expectations. El Taquerito beats my expectations. On top of the warm welcoming from staff the food was amazing. I tried the Huevos Rancheros and taco de al pastor. My taste buds were so satisfied! If you're in the area try the restaurant out. You won't be disappointed.
