Elda's Mexican Restaurant

The man who owns this property and the house next to it is so very mean. He is so ugly-hearted. He was so mean he made me cry. I'm sure his rudeness is why this restaurant didn't last.

I have no clue what anyone is talking about. This was the worst place we’ve ever eaten. It had no flavor and the chili wasn’t even hot. The curtains are hung by thumbtacks and the atmosphere was not good. Neither was the food. Save your time and money and just drive to Aztec or Durango to get good food.

The food here is always great. Always fresh from the kitchen. Service is wonderful and convenient location.

Convenient stop on way to Farmington from Durango, CO. Since Covid-19 restrictions are in place they only have food to-go. Friendly service, great food, brought out to your vehicle.

This is a farming area and this stop is obviously a favorite of locals and travelers. Great homemade food. My husband had chicken fried steak that did not have all that batter on it. Delicious and healthier. I had carne asada which was okay. The food being served around us like enchiladas looked great. Service was exceptional. While we were there they had a great bit of take out activity.

Located on US 550 north of Aztec on the way to Durango. Elda’s has an extensive menu of authentic Mexican food. Just the best food around. Enchiladas, chile rellanos, Mole, Chile con queso, horchata, etc., etc. Wonderful food served by wonderful folks in a cozy atmosphere. Open daily 8am to 2 pm. Skip the chains and come here.
