The tortillas could be better, but the food is good and the place is clean and social distancing is being practiced, as well as mask enforcement.. No biggie. Enjoy good Mexican food and if you're in the neighborhood stop in and be on your way.

This is a small neighborhood business. The entrance to the cafe has no mask no service. Clearly visible on the door. Of the 12 customers there, seven people walked in without a mask and no one said anything to them. Two of the total of 12 customers were hacking and coughing excessively. Most of the customers were elderly, including myself. The huevos rancheros plate serve to me was lukewarm. The tortillas were hot. The elderly waitress was moving around like a teenager with her paying attention to all of the tables. I had seen this place and wanted to go check it out for over a year. I finally went there today and I am sorry I did. I have no intention of returning to this Cafe. However, the food servings were more inline with portions meant for the elderly. The majority of the customers greeted each other and the waitress by name.

I saw this place on my way to work and it seemed promising. The old ladies seemed nice at first but were quick with attitude because I didn't speak spanish. I ordered 2 bean and cheese tacos and a sweet tea. The bean and cheese were less than 3 dollars and with the went up to 6.45. I asked the cashier is the sweet tea 3 dollars? And her response was, "you don't want it?" I said sure and paid. Very rude. The cheese was a cheap quick melt, which wasn't even melted, and the beans tasted of nothing. The green salsa was very bland and no spice at all plus watery. The tea was more ice than tea and tasted like the nozzle hadn't been cleaned in months. The 5 stat ratings are for sure people who don't know anybody about food. Elena is there supposedly and she should be ashamed of her establishment and cheap food. Just buy cheddar and you can be rude. Serve great tea and you can be rude. This place is a dud on the west side and I hope to see it closed soon.
