Service was ok, nothing outstanding but the $7 Carnes guisada burrito was very bad, mostly tortilla with very little meat! Mostly beans and vegetables. For that price I expected WAY better. Very bad.

This place has amazing food. Best Mexican food I’ve ever tasted outside of my grandma’s house service can be a little bit more welcoming whether that manifest in being able to communicate with an English speaker or just smiling. They weren’t rude just not very friendly. Atmosphere of course is Mexican music, but it’s low volume and it’s a quiet place. You do have your common homeless walking through the parking lot every now and then but I haven’t had any of them ask for money yet. Be prepared to have a third-party selling fruit cups, or other trinkets pass through while you’re eating. These people are also friendly though. And don’t be surprised if you return to your car and there’s a flyer or card stuck in your windshield.. Other than that it’s a really good restaurant that I do recommend.

After I have been here soooo many times this time was most definitely my last! Even after the fact a few months ago I got really sick from the food and stopped going. So after giving it one more chance we went and ordered 2 #34s. Enchiladas and nacho plate. Repeated it a few times as the communication barrier was obviously an issue. Got the food went home opened it and there was maybe 2 pieces of meat and drops of cheese on them. I wish I was over exaggerating about what this food looked like. So after driving from 4 hours out of town I didn't want to complain but after thinking about what I paid for wasn't what I got I decided to call. Once again after speaking to Juan "the owner" he asked me to drive all the way back to bring the food. I'm obviously complaining about the nachos on the plate and he tells me that since we have already eaten off the plate he wasn't going to do anything about. After he explained that that how the plate is supposed to be made he decided to give me more meat after I said I'll pay for another plate. After carefully consideration I decided against giving them more money for food I had already bought and should have to purchase more. I then ask for his card and he pulls out a card with none of his info on it. He then takes back the card to place his cell phone number on it?! I asked what it was and he said his cell. Sir why would I need that when we clearly talked and you have already pissed me off? Was that supposed to make things better? Reading other bad reviews it seems like this is a thing with them. Funny thing is that every time I go this plate is the ONLY thing I eat here so I know exactly what it's supposed to look like. Highly disappointed and will NEVER return. For sure this time!!!!
