This food is insanely good! First time trying them and I had it delivered through uber. Food was still hot and I got a variety box to try. Each one was delicious!

Try the Colombian cheese bread!!!!

• MEAL
I chose 2 types of empanadas; the Colombian-style meat one and the chicken cheese one, however, for my taste the first one is totally exquisite due to its size, seasoning and dough.

The peach juice with milk was crazy. ? very good balance in the ingredients.

• SERVICE
The customer service, cordiality and attention of the woman who was there that day was clearly terrible and non-existent.
At the same time, when delivering my order he did so in very bad taste or with haste and discomfort; although she was the only one there at that moment.

• ATMOSPHERE
It would be nice to hear faint music from the countries we were born in; The place was very subdued or quiet.

Small scale hidden gem. Finally stopped by after driving by many times. I regret not coming here sooner! Ordered two beef salteñas for time, but if my stomach did the talking I would have ordered half the case. The man at the counter was kind in explaining the fillings of some of the empanadas and telling me what was the most popular/traditional. The ones we got had a really good filling to pastry ratio and upon looking at other reviews, it seems many others have the same experience. Will be back again.

We were so so excited to see Colombian goodies sold here in SA. We usually drive to Dallas to get our fix. Ordered almojabanas and Colombian empanadas. Also ordered a chicken and potato empanada.
My husband thought the almojabanas and Colombian empanadas were tasty. Unfortunately I think the almojabanas were a bit small. The chicken and potato empanada lacked flavor.

The food here is amazing. Their empanadas, their salsa, to their customer service is amazing. I always get them on Uber eats as well and still the food tastes fresh always

My son lived in Bolivia for two years and chose this place to eat. The Colombian was our favorite. His second favorite was the spinach and mine was the chicken. A great variety, so we had to try several. He really enjoyed his conversation with the owner.

👍Ah, the heavenly aroma of freshly baked Empanadas wafting through space! That's the telltale sign that you're approaching the "Best Empanada Shop in Town." This little gem is a beacon of warmth and culinary delight, especially when the early morning chill nips at your nose or when those late-night hunger pangs come knocking. Step inside and you're greeted by the warm smiles of the staff, who are as welcoming as the glow of the oven that churns out these golden pockets of joy. The display case is a treasure trove of breakfast bliss, showcasing Empanadas filled to the brim with the holy trinity of breakfast meats: sausage, potato, egg, and cheese, as well as their equally tempting cousin, the bacon, potato, egg, and cheese. Each one is a masterpiece, with a crust that's just the right amount of crispy and flaky, giving way to a warm, savory filling that sends your taste buds on a joyride. But it's not just the breakfast Empanadas that have the town talking; oh no, they've got a lineup that'll keep you coming back for every meal. From sweet to spicy, traditional to innovative, there's a flavor for every craving. And let's not forget their sidekicks – the perfect pairings of zesty Chimichurri salsa and creamy Jalapeño sauce that dance on your tongue and complement every bite. Now, the magic doesn't stop when the sun goes down. Thanks to the wonders of Uber Eats and DoorDash, you can satisfy those pesky Empanada cravings at any hour. Whether it's a midnight snack or a surprise treat for a friend, these delightful bundles of goodness are just a few taps away. The convenience is unmatched, but the taste? So, when you're in the mood for a breakfast that's a little out of the ordinary, or you just need a comfort food fix at 1 AM, remember the "Best Empanada Shop in Town EDA." It's the place where every bite is a celebration of flavor, and the service is as warm as the fresh-out-of-the-oven pastries they serve. Bon Appétit!

I recently visited a charming Empanada store in San Antonio, EDA – Empandas de Aca, just a few blocks inside Loop 1604 and Bandera Rd. This hidden gem boasts a wide variety of mouthwatering Empanadas with flavors inspired by Argentinian and Colombian cuisine. Each Empanada is filled with generous portions of savory goodness, making them the perfect size for a satisfying meal.
Paired with house-made Chimichurri and Aji sauces that accompany the Empanadas for an unforgettable experience. These zesty condiments add an extra kick of flavor that will have your taste buds dancing with delight. It's truly a symphony of flavors that can be enjoyed solo or shared with friends and family.
What's even better is that this Empanada store offers combo and family packages, making it a great choice for a budget-friendly meal. Whether you're craving a quick bite on the go or planning a cozy gathering with loved ones, this spot has got you covered. So next time you're in the mood for some delicious Empanadas, be sure to swing by this fantastic little eatery – your taste buds will thank you!

Local, family owned place with a small interior but big flavors. It’s a bit hidden off to the side of the main shopping center, but trust me when I say it is well worth the drive. The phenomenal empanadas are always served warm with a side of some of the best chimichurri sauce I’ve had. I tried the chicken and cheese and the Colombian beef and both were fantastic! The chicken and cheese is mostly chicken, not cheese and is packed full of it without any empty pockets in it. The Colombian beef is potato with beef, but with the special sauce they serve it with, it’s a perfect mix of crunch, salt, and acid. Don’t forget to try the rest of the Colombian goodies as well! ??
