Friendly and attentive wait staff.Appetizer:smoked salmon. Garnished well but could still taste the salmon’s quality.Entree: rigatoni for the lady and gnocchi for myself. We both enjoyed the entrees very much. I liked how dense the gnocchi was and the butter sauce wasn’t too heavy so it balanced out nicely.

We live within walking distance of in our opinion the best of many good Italian restaurants in San Antonio. Ezio Bistro is a 10 table gem with superb food. We have dined there twice now after stopping to see what was this place we had never heard of or read about and even the signage is easy to miss. It is truly a family affair, Dad learned to cook growing up in Italy. One son handles the tables and one handles the bar. They do have a family friend that helps with the bar on busy nights, and they have a dishwasher. The menu is broad but fish is my favorite and my better half is hooked on the lamb chops. You cannot be in a hurry on weekend nights. Reservations are wise.

I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday dinner at this lovely family-owned restaurant. The experience was nothing short of delightful. We savored a delectable dinner, highlighted by an exquisitely roasted rack of lamb that was cooked to perfection and their irresistibly spaghetti, which my wife and son claimed the sauce was the best they had ever tasted. To top it all off, they made all the desserts in house which were simply divine. This gem of a restaurant truly exceeded our expectations.
