my portion of the order came with 2 empanadas. I already knew half way through my first empanada that if I didn't start the second one immediately, I wouldn't have room in my stomach for it. So yes, I ate half of both & im glad I did. So much flavor, so juicy & the right amount of crisp without being too dry. it's a small place but the tables aren't crowded together, which i love.

These empanadas are simply delicious. Owners and staff are VERY nice and friendly, as well. You will not be disappointed with any of the many flavors - we've tried most of them.I highly recommend this quaint Westside gem.

I ordered 4 empanadas they are pretty big so I had to save 2 for later I didn’t forget to ask for their homemade sauce on the side I must say it was delicious ? don’t let the exterior of the build or the side of town it’s located on keep you from stopping by this amazing restaurant a true hidden gem.Vegetarian options: Not really vegetarian the cheese is still animal base but they do have no meat options but still has animal products inside

I stop in about once every 2 weeks before I head into work. Make sure to try the spicy chimichurri sauce. I always order one spicy beef and one chicken/spinach/cheese. I haven't tried the other dishes, but that's only because the empanadas I get are so good and perfectly spiced. The staff has always been friendly, as well

Second time coming here.. the first time was amazing. Perfectly cooked and tasted authentic. This time however it was as if I stepped into an alternative universe.. the meat wasn't cooked all the way as well as the over all pasty was slop.. it wasn't the crunchy goodness I was anticipating.. maybe one more time but it better be in point.

This restaurant has been on “Drive In’s Diners and Dives” so I wanted to visit and see if the empanadas were as amazing as reported. It’s a small bright green house with a little wooden porch so it stands out in the neighborhood. The lady at the counter helped me decide what to order so I chose the chicken spinach and cheese empanada, a side of potato salad and a cortado (a small coffee). I waited at a table but noticed a group of firefighters enjoying lunch. Firefighters always know great places to eat so my anticipation grew ?. Let me tell you, that first bite was so delicious! I also added some spicy chimichurri sauce but it was delicious without it. I decided my son and his family would like them for dinner so I ordered 4 varieties (par baked), along with some sweet dessert empanadas. They were equally impressed! I highly recommend visiting them ☺️.Parking: There are parking spaces along the side of the building and a few out front but Commerce St is one-way so be mindful.
They specialize in a variety of empanadas with an Argentine slant. We have had the beef empanadas with potato which are delicious. Great place for take out,
