My sandwich, The Carolina, was superb....not too heavy with sauces, added jalapeño to it for a little extra heat and with the chips and drink it was only 12.00 and completely filling.

At the time, it was just after the lunch crowd, so it was nice to have the place almost to ourselves for about 15 minutes, then it got busy again. Which was fine.

The meats were perfectly cooked and tender, the bread toasted.....it was a nice break.

Firehouse Subs is a wonderful organization, and on top of that all this is a great location. This part of town can be a little hit-and-miss when it comes to service quality. This is one of the few places that is actually pulling the average up! I plan to eat here every time I am on a contract here!!

I'm assuming I met the owner. That man was on top of his game. Definitely a customer service oriented individual. I didn't realize i was there 15 minutes before the store opened. He let me in and served me anyway. He was very friendly and even remembered my name from my order and gave me a personal farewell by name. Sharp looking, and clean shaven too... working along side his employees, and not afraid to get dirty

Definitely the type of American service...
