I feel like it just depends who's working at the time you visit. Sometimes the service is great and the food is good too, mainly when you eat it there but when is to go my food is less well prepared, my fries or tots look old or over fried like they've been on the oil for to long

Burgers were dry and salty. French fries were delicious, love the thin crispy fries. Custard was on point! Too expensive, Food for 4, $60.00.

Freddy's is a consistently good place to get lunch or dinner. The hot dogs are always good, the fries fresh and the restaurant clean.

REVISED REVIEW

I previously left a 1 star review. I was contacted by Wendy and little did I know that review would change my whole outlook on recently relocating to San Antonio.
WENDY made sure that my order was remade the right way...and let me tell you THE FOOD IS FREKIN AMAZING! I was in a food coma for half a day.
It just so happened that the night we chose to try this place out was when a crazy storm had hit San Antonio so there was several call outs and a few newer people so unfortunately things didn't pan out with our end of night order. But these guys took accountability for their shortcomings and made it right.
As soon as we went back for our second try at this place-we were greeted and the staff was friendly. The inside was very clean. They went above and beyond my expectations to ensure that our order was made right. My toddler is hard to please yes, but he said it's the best burger place ever. And it is hands down.
I will definitely be a regular here. Will be going back this week with my friend from back home since he's visiting this week

It was my first time here and I am very disappointed. I ordered my burger with cheese, bacon and ketchup ONLY! The receipt even shows that. It came loaded with EVERYTHING! My child’s kid meal was ordered bacon cheese and ketchup ONLY. They did the same and put everything on that one as well. They also did not put in the bag the applesauce that was supposed to come with the kid meal. They failed to put napkins or the ketchup packets I had requested in the bag. I PAID $28.02 for a meal that we won’t eat because they put a bunch of stuff on the burgers that I SPECIFICALLY and REITERATED to them to make sure they UNDERSTOOD. I tried calling them once I got home ten minutes after we left. My family was so disappointed because we just relocated here and had been wanting to try this spot. I wanted to treat my child and we don’t really get to very often. Hire some people that can follow some directions and that are literate and know how to answer a damn telephone! I could’ve gotten my order perfect and no issues and would’ve paid half the cost had I gone to In N Out.

Good food

It would be great if the guy at the register would get off his phone. With me and several others without fail, he speaks and looks at you uninterested. Like he’s better than you sort of, then again well you work at a fast food restaurant and you don’t look like you’re 16-19 yrs old. To top it off he pulls his phone out also every single time he charges you and even before you leave and starts texting on it. Guy with a beard and no cap about 5’11 Hispanic 240-260 lbs short hair with a minor receding hairline line. Get off the phone man, management please look at your cameras inside. 06/07/2025 4:34:04 PM. Receipt says John 3 items sold.

RON’S THE MAN!!! Remember him telling me about this place between lines. Great food, great people!! The chicken sandwich was like a rock!! Coke’s almost better here than it is with Ron!!
