I like Freddy's. Their frozen custard is reliably yummy when I can spare the calories.

But I was rather disappointed with my visit the other day- I popped in to pick up two Frozen Custard Oreos, one for my son and one for me. They prepared them using fresh custard so when we tried to take a bite, all of the soft custard just tried to ooze out the sides, leaving me with only hard cookie for the last few bites.

Perhaps I just hadn't...

Tucked behind two other restaurants but easy enough to find. They got one order wrong in the drive thru and fixed it, so this caused a delay but not too long. Didn't have vanilla shake only chocolate so mildly disappointed, but great food otherwise.

Out of towner, just hit the drive thru for ice cream. I like how the ice cream menu is simple, but covers what anyone wants. Drive thru was slow but maybe that's the norm? Thanks hoovie ;-)
