You may have to wait a little while, but it's worth it because the fish is cooked to order. Say what you will but this is some good fried fish! Oh and order the large tater sauce. It's the best!
A local favorite, especially if you grew up on the southside. I've never had bad service or food at this location. Occasionally, service is slow but that's kind of expected because I can't recall ever seeing more than one person working here so I try to go when no one else is in line. I definitely recommend trying the fish basket and chicken sandwich if you've never been before.
I highly recommend the fish, tarter sauce, and onion rings from Fred's Fish Fry. The fish is freshly fried when u order. Golden and lightly crispy is on point for my taste. and served with sliced bread. This is a great choice for a nice clean, white piece of fish without any bones or mess
