We went through drive thru Monday 12/15 . I had been craving this fish very disappointed. The fries were old and cold. The pieces of fish looked like it was refried. Out of the whole meal, ghe shrimp was the best. Shrimp was nicely fried and still warm by time I got hm. I dont think we will be doing Fred's fish for awhile.

I had heard bad things about Fred's so never ate there. But, once I saw them advertised on Texas Eats, we went to our local Fred's and I was very pleasantly surprised. The facility is so clean--no smells of rancid grease or 'seafood' when you walk in; a nice little eating area; order at the counter. I got Seafood Platter #1, which had three pieces of fish, 2 shrimp, 2 oysters, plenty of white bread, fries and a jalapeno. It was all quite good, piping hot and crispy. I'm glad to know that I can get a simple, fast, tasty, economical seafood dinner close by.
