I absolutely love this place. The bar tenders and servers are super nice and chill. The beer is great with awesome variety. It's a shame this place is closing at the end of the month. I am *completely* devastated as this is a local gem to me and cool community. The other location is too far so I can't go frequently like this one. Please owners if you are reading this, consider keeping this open even as just a taproom. Every time I go here the staff and local community is so chill. Please don't close it down ðŸ˜
I frequent the north side location and have been wanting to come see this location for a few years. Finally got around to it and I was really disappointed with the service. They had one guy for the whole floor (and bar!) on a Sunday and it was relatively busy. The same dirty tables when I walked in were dirty as when I left. It didn’t feel like a genuinely good brewery experience. We waited way too long to be acknowledged after arriving. Would be nice if they were trained on the types of beers offered. I got no recommendations or explanations. Just hurried orders. Weird vibe.
This brewery has lots of room, a big, high ceiling indoor area; it has at least one outdoor area, maybe more. Really cool, cool vibe, see my pictures for how spacious and colorful it is. The service is outstanding, I sat at the bar and did not want for anything. The food looks great, I didn't eat. They had about 10 beers on tap and I tried 9, on two flights, above average beer... Overall, a very nice place.
Awesome spot. Staff were great, the pickle beer was bomb. Would 100% make another visit next time I'm in San Antonio
Super chill brewery. Beers are great, I've had the food before (pizza and spinach dip), and they are very tasty. I'm a fan of their sour beers like Ananke, Fortuna roja and Texas harvest. Service is always great, very hospitable and clean! Love freetail brewery!
Freetail Brews are a delightful compliment to their unique style of pizza … not too much of any one flavor, spice, or sauce, which makes for a pleasant experience to beyond satisfy your hunger & thirst. Exceptional customer service in the way of recommendations & helpfulness as well as a great vibe as soon as you walk in, plenty of parking & dining areas, clean & well kept environment, and friendly to newcomers with questions ( myself & I witnessed the same treatment toward another new patron). So if you’re looking to enjoy a relaxed time while drinking good beer & tasty pizza, then Freetail Brewing Co. should have what you need.
Great pizza and salads.
Came to visit after being gone for 4 yrs…Where did the love go??🤷😥 place isn’t the same without Chef Reboli, and founder Mark Metzger. Think I’m exaggerating?? Look at the pic of the beer to go cooler..zero selection and empty😓
Always great food, the staff is always in a good mood and very helpful. Pizza is amazing and great beer.
The 401K beer was amazing. The service and bathrooms were outstanding. Enjoyed the Matagorda pizza, too. Big screen television and Dia De LosMuertos decoration were fun.
