This hotel wasn’t horrible, but it’s definitely not what we’re used to. The pictures on the website are misleading. This is an older hotel, and even though it is on the Riverwalk, it’s at the far end, away from all the restaurants and shopping. It’s a 20 minute walk to a restaurant on the river. The hotel restaurant didn’t look good, and we didn’t even want to eat it based on what we saw as we walked through. I can now see why this hotel was only $700 for 2 nights....read full review

The staff was very nice and helpful, the hotel was clean and so were the rooms. Breakfast was good and waitresses very nice as well. Pet friendly hotel, we did have a/c leak issue but front desk within minutes put us in another room with a bigger balcony, so thank you for that! Beds were comfortable…the walk to main restaurants and bars is about 20-25 min. With the extreme heat it’s better to Uber.

Fresca on the River is a pet-friendly hotel with a clean and comfortable atmosphere. The staff are known for their friendly and attentive service. The hotel offers a good breakfast and large, clean rooms equipped with a small refrigerator and coffee maker. The food is excellent and delicious, including the steak and eggs, the big Texas waffle, and French Toast. Located near the River Walk and a 2-minute walk to the Tobin theater, it has a convenient location. It provides a pleasant and comfortable stay with great service and reasonably priced, delicious appetizers.
