Went on a Sunday afternoon. There was a decent line when we got there. No tables available. The line didn't move super fast but they're making everything to order so it's definitely not a complaint.
Once you order and pay everything comes to you as it's made. We were able to get a table by the time we ordered.
Unfortunately we ended up a table that the previous family left a MESS. As soon as the staff had a break in between customers they...

The very best places are the ones that not only have the best food but allow you to experience something unique and unforgettable. If you are here in San Antonio, especially if you are on vacation, you need to visit Fruteria la Tropicana. When you visit, you will enjoy the most authentic, diverse, and traditional deserts that San Antonio has to offer. Also, stop by late if you are in the mood for something savory, they have it all covered.

If you’re looking for the kind of place where calories don’t count (because science, obviously), this is it.

The Blue Bell flows like sweet, creamy magic from the heavens, and the staff? Absolute legends. Funny, fast, and probably licensed to scoop joy. Chris took our order and crushed it like a waffle cone under a toddler’s foot.

My wife has been coming here for years and only just introduced me. I feel betrayed… but also blessed....
