Cool bbq food truck connected to McIntyre’s bar. It was my gf and my first time visiting each last Sunday, 4/7, and we weren’t disappointed!Great customer service from the 2 guys working the truck, friendly & courteous. ☺️ I got the medium nachos with half pulled pork, half brisket, and it came with pico de gallo & queso (skipped the jalapeños)— great portioning and super delicious! I don’t really taste that the queso was “smoked” as they call it, but really good! ? I also got a sausage tortilla wrap and it was one of the best ??Gf got the brisket sandwich and a sausage link to put in her sandwich. She enjoyed every bite and was sad when it was gone. All the bbq had great flavor, was juicy and tender!We loved the food & vibes so much we came back on Tuesday, 4/9 for our anniversary because they said Tuesday was their steak night where they have more tasty sides! Although I wanted the steak, I opted for a brisket sandwich this time & my gf got the same. Even more delicious than the first time ???
I was dragged here by all the amazing brisket reviews. I must say it didn’t live up to my expectations. Both brisket and pulled pork were insanely dry. Overall it’s a nice place and drinks are ok, but food is pretty average.

I had their pulled pork sandwich and it was outstanding. Their establishment is a food truck on the property of a large and trendy bar, however the bill is unrelated to that of the bar and food can be ordered directly. There is also a parking lot right next to the food truck.I only wish that I lived closer so that I could enjoy their BBQ more often!

This truck needs to be advertised that it is for 21 and older. I drove over here with my two teenage sons, excited about trying the food only to find out that the premises is only for 21 and older . The food must be taken to go! We never got to try just told that we had to leave the premises.

Perhaps I was expecting too much from this place, because the ratings are stellar. I was disappointed. It was just okay. The brisket was nice and tender but not super flavorful, and the pulled pork was dry. The BBQ sauce was sugary. For the money and the calories, I wanted it to be better.

So incredibly confused about why this spot is so highly rated. It's fine. The BBQ sauce is too sweet. It's massively overpriced. The nachos come with very little meat. The BBQ plates are fine. The tacos were $7, but came with sufficient brisket to be worth it. Does San Antonio just have terrible BBQ? That is the only reason to explain the high rating
Best nachos ever!Found this spot with a Google Maps search. We split a large all brisket nachos with smoked queso. Unbelievably good. Friendly service too. Highly recommend.
These guys catered a wedding I went to. They had plates with sausage, brisket, rice and beans. They were serving tables one by one. We were one of the last tables to be served. They were a little skimpy on the portions for the plates. I was an expecting a little more. I got 1/2 a sausage link, which was very good and not over cooked. The brisket did not have any smoke flavor at all. You could tell the rub was a simple salt and pepper. I expected better and it was cooked a tad bit too long. It did fall apart, but was overcooked. The rice was good. The beans had a good flavor; but, it looked like they used too much Manteca as you could see it thickening up the beans.I was not sure what I was expected when I got the plate. I had never heard of this place before. I know when you are cooking for a large amount of people it is hard to control quality. They could use a little help with their brisket. I suggest using a different brisket rub and wrapping it butcher paper 2 hours before you are supposed to pull it off and put it back in the smoker. I would give them an A for effort, but there is room for improvement.

I had a luncheon for my friends and by luck stumbled upon Garcia Barbecue. Needless to say, it was a huge hit! Not only was the brisket extraordinary, the pulled pork and sausage were just as enjoyable. We also ordered the cream corn and charro beans. Gotta say they were also exceptional. Visit them soon as you will not be disappointed. I will definitely be back!
