Breakfast was absolutely amazing. The Chiliquillas were on point. and you must try the Jave Special itsa their signature carne guisada made into enchiladas. Mmmm, mmmmm, mmmmm, Delish!!!!

It's the best ever! Homemade Mexican food, Great friendly staff. The prices are on point.

Hidden gem on the Southside.
Very good food. The restaurant serves as a museum for tejano memories. One of the last good ones that do it old school.

I can't believe I've been driving past this place for years and never knew it was on the back side of the strip mall. Family-owned and delious food!! Had the $8.95 daily special of chicken mole enchiladas with rice, beans plus tea and I highly recommend it. This place has a unique atmosphere with Tejano music memorabilia on the walls, honoring its founder, Tejano legend Gilbert Rodriguez. I will be bringing all my co-workers back here for lunch.

The beef enchiladas are so good, the meat is seasoned and flavored the cheese they use it so good as well get extra cheese you won’t be disappointed. Rice is good I love that it’s just rice and nothing added in like peas and other stuff. The only thing I would change are the refried beans maybe add some bacon drips to give it a little flavor other than that this place is solid. My grandma loved her menudo!!!!

Unfortunately, not realizing it was almost closing time.
But we were greeted with a warm welcome and not hurried to place our order.

The food (menudo) was delicious, great taste just the right amount of spicyness, well portion of tripe and hominy.
Waiteresses were very hospitable.

Will be going back because I liked the atmosphere and all the wall-to-wall photos, plus I wanted to try the rest of their menu items.

Came to find out this restaurant has been there 40+ years, that means a lot for an establishment.

This place has such a cool vibe, totally digging the tejano music theme! The food was absolutely delicious, seriously tasty tex-mex grub. Plus, the service was super fast and everyone was so friendly. It's definitely my new go-to spot for a great meal. I can't wait to come back and try more of their menu!

Me my mom and my stepdad, sister enjoyed Ann Marie as our waitress she was so funny outgoing. Food was super quick out enchiladas are 10/10. My step dad art martinez was the one that picked this place absolutely want to take my kids and my boyfriend. I’ll be back thank you for your service ❤️

Excellent food & service. Our waitress Ann Marie was very courteous & helpful. The food was out in no time. It’s a small gold mine everyone should try. Plus they have a wonderful collection of musical memorabilia.
