It's your typical buffet..... salad bar was horrible!! Everything was a mess. Like over scooped items and it dropped in other containers and around the bar area.. didn't taste fresh and the place was packed. Waiter/waitress never came to get my drink. Had to flag them down. $22 was not worth it. I left and probably WONT be back

It was later at night and service was unwinding down. Fried shrimp was good. And the salad bar is allways good. But the steak taste like a tough old snake.the desert was the best. That's it.

Very rude staff…..did not have the drink I wanted so they thought I would drink what they decided to substitute….when I asked for something different….attitude…..when I asked for a knife…..they said ask the waiter….waiter stated I have to go to the front….when I asked for a medium well steak….he tried to serve me a old sitting steak fully cooked….when I said no…..attitude….IF YOU HONESTLY HATE YOUR JOB……DONT SHOW UP…..

Not even a buffet don't have anything food is cold roaches on the ice cream machine I thought it was a ant but was a roach cupcake hard like a rock .won't recommend anyone here.

On August 6, 2024 the food was terrible. (7 of us)
We revisited on Jan.31, 2025 (10) of us & the food was way better than in August. ( different cook; obviously - the Mac & cheese was nothing special at all- actually bland back in Aug & Jan( I actually was disappointed BIG TIME- because I love Mac and Cheese) the fried fish & shrimp was salty...in Aug & Jan.
The lady who cleared out table wasn't very good at it
The plates would stay on the table too long & when I motioned for her to get it - she motioned back " wait " so I didn't ask for her to do again, instead we started putting plates on EMPTY table by us. The get together was celebrating 4 Birthdays.
Being we made reservations for the occasion & did get a room ( there was another family (6) in room also}
I thought we would have had an "English" speaking" waitress, since we made the Reservation in English.
.....just saying.....
P.S- oh yea & the meatloaf sucked all around- from bad in August - to even worst in January.

We asked for a well done steak and the employee barely put the steak back on for a few seconds and still gave it to us medium rare. Spoke to the manager and he stated he will make the steaks himself and said to give him 10min. We waited 20 min. And he never came back to our table or to check on us. Our server Richard was great though.

This place is a hit or miss. We eat here once or twice every visit to San Antonio. Our first first this trip was great. The food was fresh, and the place was clean. The staff was great. The second time, we found the food a little old, especially the chili. It had a crust on it. The was great and for the most part it was clean. I wouldn't count it out. It's still good for a quick meal and good variety

Paid for a cold meal , @Golden Corral on Southwest Military Dr in SA Tx . reported to manager he said it was temp that the state requires. Told him no can’t believe that . His remark also was could be Air Conditioner . Said he would check the temps . We been there several times, food was warm . But this time food cold. We’re not sure we want to go back . When we go eat we at least want a warm to hot meal if we’re gonna pay

Food was good but the servers and waiters need better customer service skills. Both were rather rude and unhelpful. A buffet server even made a rude comment as I passed in Spanish,(I'm a light Hispanic) I guess she assumed I didn't understand. Wouldn't recommend this location.

Blanca is not polite and her customer service is terrible. She is borderline mean. But food was good.
