Visited the restaurant on a recommendation from a good friend ( Yamen @ Aussi Motors ). Ahmad was a fantastic host and helped us select a fantastic meal of lamb tagine and mixed shawarma. The flavors burst in your mouth with every bite. Cannot wait to return and try more dishes in the future!

I waited inside the restaurant sfter ordering my food. It was completely empty. When I received my food it was Luke warm, meaning not fresh and hot. There was also an awful after taste. I hope there are no racist shenanigans going on.

Wow ?!!! Amazing Mediterranean and Moroccan food…The flavors and quality of food for the price was exceptional. I got the Chicken Tikka plate and my girlfriend got the Chicken Shawarma plate. Both were SO good.We live out of state and do not have a lot of options when it comes to dining out! So glad we didn’t miss this new place while in the area. Enjoy!

I ordered chicken shawerma with rice ! After 10 minutes the waitress came with nasty food. The chicken was not tender and not delicious. I asked the waitress the chicken is not fresh. She said we cooked the chicken 12 hours ago . I told them you gonna make everybody sick please drop it in the trash. So I didn't eat my food . They charged me $22 so not recommended very cheap restaurant.I am from the Middle East and I have full knowledge of Arabic, Turkish, Iranian and Mediterranean cuisine. I was in Turkey country two weeks ago and I ate fresh shawarma kebab every day. Nowhere in the world do they keep the meat for 12 hours in your method. Instead, they cut the meat which is attached to a moving base and deliver it to the customer. The explanation you gave may be convincing for an American who has spent his whole life only in America, but for me, these explanations are not acceptable. And I will complain to the city municipality. Although I was unhappy with your food and did not eat it, you charged me 22 dollars, which is against the law in America.

Golden Meals Moroccan & Mediterranean Grill brings a lot to the table of just amazing & delicious food, I highly recommend you try their Moroccan Tagines, especially the Lamb Shank Tagine which I love the most but everything served here is 100% Authentic & Halal!! Give em a try I promise you won’t be disappointed. ??
Definitely the best new restaurant in San Antonio. The food is authentic and will be served with love. The price is extremely reasonable for the amount of food and guaranteed freshness. Try the lamb or chicken couscous or tajine, the harira or some of the many other delights. Pictured here is lamb couscous with vegetables which is served on Friday or Saturday
