Gorditas Y Taqueria La Comarca Lagunera

I need to leave feedback about Gorditas Y Taquería (3743 Pleasanton Rd, San Antonio, TX 78221).

This was my first time trying this restaurant. Unfortunately, the woman who took my order was not honest. She didn’t inform me in advance about the prices before I placed my order.

The enchiladas verdes on the menu were listed at $7.99, and I asked her for some limes. The food itself including the corn tortillas wasn’t bad at all.

However, the bill she gave me was not what I expected. She charged me $9.99 instead of $7.99, and she also charged me $1.50 for the 3 limes (50 cents for each). I was surprised, as most Mexican restaurants offer limes for free when customers ask. When I questioned her about the charges for both the meal and the limes, she pointed to a sign on the wall. I asked why she didn’t mention the extra charges before I ordered. She also never told me there would be a charge for the limes before giving me a small bowl with just three pieces.

I will never go back to this restaurant again. They need to let her go before customers stop coming.

I always come here for my tacos and let me tell you they do not disappoint!. this is the best taco place I have ever been to on the south side. Their chorizo and bean tacos are so good. So are their Carne guisada and asada tacos. I also love their breakfast plates as well. You can customize your them and they make them exactly the way you want them always hot and always fresh.

Super clean and friendly staff. Salsa is extra spicy but delicious. The food was so freshly made and it was good.

Pretty good food

Terrible service at the window, i go here every morning during the week to get tacos but the Spanish only speaking lady at the window has got my order wrong for the last time. Constantly adding more to my order than what I asked for. Sometimes I'll ask for a refund but I'm tired of doing it over and over. Will not be returning to this restaurant anymore.

Won't be back. Worker was coughing all over while serving people food.

My husband and I have been here twice, and we are definitely going to be coming back. The food is delicious. The service is friendly. The atmosphere has always been peaceful with music in the background, the times we have been there. I'd definitely recommend coming here. The tacos are so yummy, and my husband loves their menudo.

It's the second time we've been there and the lunch is very delicious, very delicious Menudo, tacos and gorditas too, highly recommended 👍🏻

They need to change the drive thru menu, I thought that if I ordered gorditas I would also receive refried beans and pico de gallo (stuffed homemade corn tortilla w/refried beans and pico de gallo), but no 😢 maybe the girl forgot, but why Pay attention or change the menu. The gorditas were okay 6/10, better than other places in that same area, but the stews do lack seasoning.

This place is definitely a hidden gem, service was outstanding and food quality was spectacular. Definitely will be coming back for breakfast tacos. I read other reviews about the beans and ITS TRUE!!! There great... Also tortillas are really soft and MADE FRESH!!!!Thank you again you will be seeing more of my self and family.
