This is the place to go! Breakfast or brunch! The food is tasty and it has that mom and pop feel. The portions are AMPLE, like if you order the chicken and waffles you can feed 2 people.

I had family visiting and we decided to take them to Grumpy's for breakfast on Sunday. The wait for a table was about a half hour, but it was definitely worth it. I had two breakfast tacos and they were huge (and very affordable). Each of us thought the food was great and service was excellent.

We ate at Grumpy's while visiting family in the area. First of all the service was outstanding which is rare for me to say.Their portions are absolutely huge! We ordered 1 taco and as you can see it could have easily fed 2 of us for under 5.00 at the time. It was the size of the plate!We also ordered the chicken and waffles which comes with wonderful homemade spiral potato chips. It had a full belgan waffle, 4 chicken tenders and those chips. My two teen boys split that. We also ordered a few other breakfast items that I forgot to get pictures of but out of 6 of us, nobody cleared their plates.This is our family's favorite breakfast spot and we easily understand why.
I had the Ultimate Patty Melt with a few tweaks. Minus the grilled tomato. Added grilled jalapeños and bacon. Honestly, I was very disappointed. Disappointed that all these years I had never stopped in. Great food! Excellent Onion Rings! Laci was awesome! Okay, now I need a nap.
ROACHES! On the stairs near the restroom where we were seated, there was a huge dead roach right next to the extra napkin dispensers. The restrooms were gross. The floor was covered in layers of filth like it hadn't been properly mopped in years. Even the thermostat covers were black with dirt. I didn't use my straw because the paper straw cover was broken and dirty like it had been rolled around on the ground.I ordered biscuits and gravy. The biscuit and gravy was okay. My coffee was fine. The hashbrowns were just raw shredded potatoes covered in melted butter so I didn't eat them.The best part of the experience was the wait staff, but the food wasn't worth the absolutely filthy atmosphere. This place needs a serious deep-clean and pest control. I can respect a hole-in-the-wall mom and pop restaurant, but I really had a hard time getting past all the dirt. There's no way the people who work there can't tell that the place is disgusting.

This meal was amazing! And the prices are so low. The service was so friendly and nice. The atmosphere was perfect. A very enjoyable meal at a very affordable price. And there’s no way you can finish the plate. we started out with onion rings that were stacked as high as a mountain. The chicken fried steak is so big that they had to bring your sides on another plate.
Our family has visited Grumpy's several times and have not been disappointed. We enjoy the casual atmosphere and we buy pies often from here.Parking: W need more parking for disability.

We stopped in just before 2 pm. They turned off the "open" right after we got there. They close at 2pm. The hamburger was delicious and HUGE. Their chips were so yummy and addictive.
