I haven't been to San Antonio in about 10 years. I had been to the Guadalajara Grill and wanted to revisit. I looked it up and was disappointed at such bad reviews. I went with my family anyway. It wasn't busy. We were seated right away. The owner was friendly. The waitress was attentive. I had beef fajita tacos, my family had chicken taquitos, cheese quesadillas and flautas. The food was delicious. I am so glad I ignored the bitter reviews. I recommend this grill, I will definitely return for another meal. Incidentally, the margaritas were the best of the entire weekend.

The waiting for food took a lot longer than expected. There was no communication whatsoever regarding the food order status. The staff was very rude and unprofessional. Do not recommend this place.

Decided to try this place despite all their bad review and man do these people live up to their one star reviews. They brought out my order wrong not once but 3 times, even the 3rd time it was still wrong but whatever I gave up on that. Ordered the Mexican Combo and man it’s was all just so darn greasy I couldn’t eat any of it

Went here with a friend from out of town, the food was subpar and the service was even worse. I was embarrassed that we spent almost 100 dollars to have crunchy rice and bland tacos. Plus, for having sat there for 30-40 minutes with only a single refill and my cup sat empty for half that time. The waitress acted like we were an incovenience from the moment we walked in. I will not be recommending or coming back to this restaurant.

This place does not deserve to be anywhere near the River or Downtown SA. Management needs to be replaced quick!! Bad service, expensive horrible drinks. Older long grey haired lady owner/ manager is rude and flat out didn't care about improving the service or drink. She will be the demise of that establishment. It's sad to see. Has potential to be a great place . But not with that management.

Service was ok, food is over priced and took 30 mins for two simple orders..

Went to have a quick snack before the St. Patrick's Day Parade. The place was not full so I sat at the bar. I was the only one seated there. I waited about 10 minutes before anyone took my order. Then NO ONE came back to check on me. I had to ask for water at which the older gentleman yelled from across the bar "Water?". I guess he was the manager/owner because he was paying a great deal of attention to his workers but not customers. Food was okay but staff was RUDE! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS PLACE.

We were a little unsure about going in, we were not greeted upon entering and stood for uncomfortable amount of time before someone finally acknowledged us, finally sitted service was great, food was delicious and the atmosphere was very entertaining. Glad we decided to wait for a table, we ordered the fresh guacamole and paradilla not disappointing.. give it a try when you're looking for a memorable place to dine

Couldn’t rate the food. Didn’t get a chance because we wanted to leave s soon as I walked due the service or lack of service in trying to order drinks. The drink I did get was $12 for the michelada. Not recommended. Stay away. Overrated!!!!

Nice people and friendly. Limited vegan and vegetarian options. The chips were decent, but most were broken. The table side guacamole was good, but $13 is steep.

The place was filthy, and the server never even came over to ask how everything was nor ask if we wanted another drink. We had to ask to order because he never came over to even take our orders. The Quesadilla was dry. The dip was plain and boring. It could be a nice place as it looked cute. They need to give it a cleaning and hire a chef and server.Vegetarian options: Good luck here, there is really nothing but the dip.

We made a reservation for 7:30pm. The service was slow as they had an event upset. The original waiter she was courteous however the other gentleman was attempting at some lame jokes to keep our service. The food came an hour late. The plate was hot and the food was cold. The shrimp Acapulco the plate came out dirty (we should’ve left in that moment out of respect we stayed).Preference was over recurring customers can clearly tell.First experience and last experience. Overpriced food and not the greatest service. Enjoy at your own risk.Food: disclosure the rice looked old along the canned beans.MolcajeteAcapulco ShrimpChicken burritoBeef fajita quesadillaWe were a group of 8.
