Food is good staff is friendly. Got the nikujaga bowl, bulgolgi and a spam musubi. It was all good. Not too sweet. Definitely gotta come back and try the taiyaki and ice cream. That all looked amazing.
The taiyaki was really yummy and I love getting the hojicha latte. Not too sweet or milky. I love coming here. The guy at the register was also really nice
Very delicious! Staff are very friendly, taiyaki is delicious both on its own and with the matcha/vanilla mix ice cream! Spam musubi was also great!
Attaching photos of the menu bc it can be a little overwhelming trying to take it all in there in person! Would recommend the butterfly pea tea and the hojita latte (its kinda of my matcha. Earthy flavor).
Takes a little while to get your food but there is a lot of seating and options.
Tried this place the other day and was not too surprised on the price and portions for ice cream you could get better price elsewhere. but as for the taiyaki I tried the simple red bean paste, it was good fresh and good quality and hot, the prices on those are not to bad but I rather go next door and get a bag of frozen ones that’s just me
Wow! What a great place to eat. The bulgogi bowl is a very good tasting and fulfilling meal, the ube ice cream is one of the best ice creams I’ve had, and I’ve had a lot of ice creams in my life. The pizza taiyaki is chefs kiss 🤌🏽 and so is the butterfly lemonade. On top of that, the service was phenomenal. I felt like a king. I will definitely be coming again.
I recently visited Hanamaru for an event. I had a Taiyaki, which was good, but more steeply priced than I was anticipating.
My lower rating comes from the fact that I'm a wheelchair user with a service dog, and had a bit of an issue navigating the venue. I will note that I came on a busy day and that plays a big role in the accessibility of the space, but it was smaller than I had assumed based on photos. As a manual wheelchair user, I struggled trying to navigate through tight isles and frequently relied on the good will of other patrons and tactfully directing my working dog. If I had been a power chair user, I'm not sure I'd have been able to enjoy the venue at all.
Aside from that, staff was accommodating to my needs regarding my order and overall kept a wonderful environment. If I wasn't in a chair and had to deal with those specifics, this would've been rated much higher.
Yummy and well priced
this place is gross af the lemonades are nasty and the spam musubi was alright i guess
Customer service was not the best. Heavy set young lady, acted as though my asking for what had milk in it was bothering to her. Was not attentive to my order when repeated multiple times.

I had to come for the ube and the red bean filled fish! Super cute, loved both. I wish there were a few more food items. We tried the takoyaki, beef bulgogi, musubi and chicken curry and rice. The takoyaki was a little strong for my taste.
Cute cafe. However, arrived at 8:15pm on a Saturday and could see that all the chairs were already stacked on the tabletops as if they were trying to close when its advertised closing time is 10pm. Would’ve stayed longer to try more menu items but the vibes were completely thrown off with the stacked chairs. No background music. Felt rushed to eat my musubi and left shortly afterwards. Not a very welcoming environment for hanging out.
I wanted to like this place, but the curry fell short. Extremely short, was it the 4 min drive I made back to my apartment that made my rice clump together like overcooked sushi rice? Doubt it. Potatoes needed a bit more time too. Overall very eh experience.
BUT condensed milk taiyaki was 4.5/5
Super fun and cute
Awful tea and over priced. It barely had the foam and it was so bitter that we couldn’t finish it. Wouldn’t recommend. Also weirdly sparse inside the space.
