Had a great time here. Love the atmosphere and the bartender does very yummy drinks. I didn't like the seats at the bar, they are very uncomfortable but they make up for it with the sofa seats.

Love the owners and the diversity here. They they are amazing people. I've heard complaints of noise from music, and I understand the need for peace at times...I very much don't see them as inconsiderate call me biased if you want but to be fair, they just opened! Lol, come celebrate with them and don't put a bad star rating because you're salty about people not fighting but celebrating a good time. Just go speak to someone about it. People are a little harsh sometimes. This place is 5 out of 5 business, though if I see you noise angry folks, I'll get you a drink here.

Very inconsiderate business. They are across the street from a residential neighborhood and play loud music into the night keeping everyone

I live across the street and the noise from the music is drowning out my tv all I can hear is thumping. I get up every morning at 3 and it has to stop!!!

As many other reviewers have noted, the ambiance is *dark* with a speakeasy feel. Dark enough to be a little disorienting at first, but the seating is comfy and spaced nicely for small groups and dates (as long as you don't need to see each other that well.) On a weekday it wasn't busy, mostly hotel guests. Refreshingly chill spot for its proximity to the River Walk. 1 star off for getting my drink order wrong (just a G&T, nothing complicated) and not being able to bill the room directly, a very minor inconvenience.

The grand opening was a success! From the security at the door and being greeted to bartending and hookah services. The staff was very friendly overall. Definitely a Latin/Caribbean vibe. I noticed the dress code was nice casual. No one looked like they rolled out of bed to go. It had its areas where you could party inside like a nightclub to being out side and having a convo. It definitely set a new vibe for the nightlife! I can’t wait to come back!

I stumbled across this place because one of my friends was playing live music at Havana Bar. It's a vibe.. it's kinda dark & feels like a temporary escape. There's lots of comfortable seating throughout this place but it's not a huge place. The bartender was very nice and you can find a decent selection of beers & full bar. This is a great spot to visit after eating at ocho or before/after going to a show at the Tobin center.

I went for a low-key bachelorette party. We loved the speakeasy feel and the drinks were amazing! Staff was friendly. I want to stay at the hotel next time I am in town and go back!

Weeknights are not the best nights. The inside look very hip speakeasy. I would say try one weekends

After dinner at Ocho on Saturday night, 4 of us decided to give this bar a try. The ambiance in Havana Bar is nice, but the service was some of the worst I've experienced. The bartender noted on our check, Adrian (dark long hair and a beard) was disrespectful, rude and in a sour mood for no apparent reason. Every simple, respectful, request was met by a snide, mean-spirited, negative response. We patiently waited a while after the group in front of us left the bar area, and eventually, with his back turned to us, he said something along the lines of "If you want something, just order." He didn't know anything about the wines he was serving or wouldn't tell us. I left it up to him to make a non-alcoholic mocktail of his choosing, and when asked what was in it, he wouldn't tell me. (It just tasted like ginger ale). I've been a server and bartender before, and the behavior was just inexcusable. He threw down a $43 bill for two wines, a beer, and a non-alcoholic drink with no itemized receipt or menu to verify the drink prices. The way he glared at our group, I wondered if we were being overcharged. The tables were covered in dirty glassware when we went to sit down. It wasn't busy, there were maybe 8 other people in the whole place. There's no reason, in a corporate owned hotel bar, to be met with a bartender who has such a deliberate, sour attitude who makes guests feel uncomfortable. Skip this place.

Adrian was awesome, entertaining, and informative! Love the vibe, the cool ambiance, it's a must stop when we're downtown!

I have mixed feelings. The bar was down what I can assume is the hotels basement. You are led down by candles on each step... the entire place was lit up by red vase candles and red lightbulbs. It could be interpreted as romantic, but my elderly self (36) focused on my inability to see anything . The bartender made some specialty cocktails that were alright, great presentation, but an acquired taste. I don't know that I will return, but at least I can say I went!

I have been to Ocho and this hotel, but the Havana was never opened when we visited. So, I was excited when they announced #HavanaHiFi was back. Especially with Adrian Quesada from Black Pumas spinning some tunes. Place is small, but a perfect setting to the evening as we sipped on some drinks. If you are looking for a great, non-tourist place on the Riverwalk, then Havana is for you. Bartenders make some wonderful drinks that you can enjoy in this area or sit on the patio.

Was at the Tobin center 8/7/22 on a Sunday around 6pm , a very short walk there ; I was "unescorted ". I had wanted to check it out for a long time & was not crowded being on Sunday The best part was its "uniqueness": Plus the hotel exterior / interior. Went through the lobby, found my way to the bar via down elevator . There was an outside entrance off the small free parking lot. Indeed it did remind you of an old speakeasy: very dark ( my eyes had to adjust) and intimate & cool on hot day . Mixologist Adrian was friendly and made me a delicious mojito . ($11) I felt the need to ask if he'd see any ghosts; it just seems that kind of a place he said no there is a small patio with a large fan & slight view of the Riverwalk Overall the neatest thing was the unique surroundings & atmosphere : you feel like you're in "another time" In my opinion, best for small groups or dates I.e. I felt like speaking in hushed tones. Didn't see any TVs( Wouldn't fit in with this type of bar? ) Only thing to mention : I'd be careful walking there after dark... surprisingly how the area changes
