Great menu, everything we had was good. Got the Rancher's Feast for a birthday. Service was great, decor for Christmas was really well done. Felt like a Texas Christmas. My only gripe was the inconsistency in drink flavor/taste. We had a large group and our drinks did not taste the same twice and from previous visits, the same drinks did not taste the same. We sent back a few due to poor execution.

We had a reservation and waited about 15 mins to be seated, which wasn't bad considering it was close to the holidays. Our waiter was as attentive as he could be as it appeared that the restaurant was under staffed and he had many large groups in his assigned section. Some of our bar drinks were hit or miss. The Bluebonnet and Old fashioned were hits. Skip the Guava Margarita. Portions are large and filling. The tallow fried French fries were absolutely delicious. Don't skip the onion ring tower with the spicy ketchup! Meatloaf, burgers were very good. The redfish was a smaller serving, but was delicious with the lump crab meat and zydeco sauce. Beautifully decorated restaurant with clean restrooms and a large bar area that was jumping. Great for large groups and families.

We had a beautiful experience for my wife's birthday; we only set out for apps and drinks and our server, Gianni made the evening incredibly easy to enjoy. The ambience was gorgeous, all of our appetizers came out hot and with great timing. I could've eaten 4 plates of the crispy pork belly bites (to whom it may concern, you really should consider that for an entrée.) The Midnight in Marfa margarita and the Bourbon Smash (at Gianni's suggestion,) were equally bright and delicious. Cannot wait to celebrate another occasion with Haywire!

This was my 1st time there. Took my family there for our Xmas Dinner and from the start of the “OLD FASHION” drink @ the bar to the food, add the beautiful Ambiance to our knowledgable waitress. I couldn't have asked for a better choice of restaurant. Absolutely amazing. !!! Reservation is the only way to go bc it's packed. Carol P Ran out of the Vanilla Bean Cheesecake !

The food was absolutely delicious, and the margaritas were on point—I only needed one because they were that good. The steak was amazing, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We had a wonderful time celebrating the kids' Christmas break. Great food, great drinks, and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

For such a nice and fancy place you would think they would have a nice waiting area to wait for table. There was really no seating available to wait. Had to wait outside plus had made reservations way ahead of time and still had to wait outside. Plus my husband said their bathrooms were extremely small and you would have thought they would invest in bigger bathrooms. So my advice is if you have to go to the restroom go before or be prepared to wait for a while.

Expensive appetizers. We ordered crab dip and it was about $23 and was only a 6 oz portion. Meat and cheese board came with only 4 toast points. For our party of six, that seemed a bit less than expected. Again, about $25. Food was tasty. Server, Frank was great. It was loud. Not a great place if you want a quiet dinner.

The noise level in that room is so much better than the main dining room. Parking is what it is, you're eating at the mall in December, yes it's busy so be prepared to valet or walk, so park near an entrance and walk the mall till you get to Haywire.
