I visited Henbit with my family over Memorial Day weekend- this review is long overdue! We were visiting San Antonio from Arkansas, after the long drive I wanted a salad! I ordered the Kale Avocado Salad. It is made with green kale, charred kale, smashed avocado dressing, dried currants, crispy quinoa, and pumpkin seeds. It was a very generous portion! I couldn’t even finish it!! I absolutely loved the dried currants. The salad had a lot of dimension, and the dressing was light and flavorful. We ate outside, despite the heat it was a great atmosphere. The Henbit team was kind and professional. Thank you, Henbit!!
Vegetarian options: Loved my salad! They also have a veggie sammie option!!
Kid-friendliness: A very family-friendly space! Lots of kids playing in the green space and splash pad!!

Really expected more from the jalapeño popper burger it sounded delicious, but the bun was super greasy and the patty had no flavor. The rosemary fries tasted like regular fries, I couldn't find the rosemary. The lavender lemonade tasted like regular lemonade, it was a good lemonade, but there was no lavender taste to it. Way overpriced for what is advertised. No flavor at all. First time for everything, but personally not a fan.

It didn't matter that it was 100 degrees outside and my kids were crying because the splash pad was undergoing maintenance. The Henbit burger was worth it x 100000. Best burger I have ever had!

Great wagyu beef burgers. The meat was tender and perfectly cooked. I returned to thank them for a great meal and had brief conversation with Chef Iris. I was impressed with how calm she was amidst busyness and very professional. It was obvious she LOVES being a chef as she puts her passion into her product.

Quite honestly, the burgers were a disappointment. The patties were very thin and there just wasn’t anything special for it to cost $15. The garlic and rosemary fries were good, just not worth the price in my opinion. Make sure not to miss the text that your food is ready! They won’t bring it to you, even if you’re sitting right in front of the food joint.
Tried the plant-based 'chicken' sandwhich, made with 'Meati' mushroom product. That (and I think the sweet potatoes) were both were thickly breaded and deep fried; I hope they will consider adding a grilled option and no breading? on the sweet potatoes for an even healthier meal. Staff was helpful and friendly, the food was fresh and tasty, and my friend loved her burger!
Vegetarian options: They use a Meati patty for the chicken sandwhich.

Please don’t waste your money here. I admit, the burger has a lot of flavor from the wagyu beef patty and special sauce. However, it does not combine that with the rest of its ingredients in a pleasing way. It ends up very salty. The burger patty being smashed cooked also means the ends of the patty are burnt but not in a good way. And this very mediocre burger by itself with cheese is $10? Please skip out on this place, though the location itself is nice and the service is friendly, in the end, it is the food that makes the place worth going to. In Henbit’s case, it’s not worth it.

The rosemary garlic fries are worth getting. The aoli is great as a dipper or on the burger. I love white cheddar and was so glad they had it as an option. I appreciated that it came in a wrapper so I could stay clean. The pickles were a nice mild crunch and I hate pickles on my burgers. This is a great stall in the Pearl food hall.
