The lady working the counter was nasty and not friendly. Asked her some questions and she was not pleasant the tamalaes were thin! They were just ok but she ruined it. No wonder the place has terrible reviews; it has some of the nastiest people that are rude to customers. Will never go back as a result. I honestly can't remember going to a place where staff treated people like that.

These are the first tamales I've found in the 4 years I've been here that I enjoyed. Yes they were a little greasy but still good. They could use more meat but other than that they were good. It was 330 when I went in and they were out of chicken so I got regular pork. The woman working there was super nice and wanted me to let her know what I thought. She didn't try to rush me out or anything and took the time to talk with me. I hear they're very busy at Thanksgiving and Christmas and I can say I see why. I can also say I love the salsa that you can get with it (red)

Anorexic bland tamales. Will not buy from them again. Culebra meet market is a whole lot better. Twelve dollar a dozen you'd figure you'd put some effort in making them good.

I am now convinced, I occasionally try these and never been impressed. This last dozen lived up to the disappointment. There looks like it has pork but only enough to see not enough to taste. I have been in search of good tamales and unfortunately my quest continues, No issues with service or cleanliness but the main one is just not there! I have never understood the hype during the holidays they habitually (and obligatory) receive. I guess those who grew up knowing what they should taste like have now settled

I visited the store on Nacodoches Rd this morning and after standing in line for roughly 20 minutes I finally made it into the store. After an additional 15 minutes I was greeted by a small framed lady wearing glasses who took my order. I ordered 2 dz regular pork. 2 dz jalapeno pork and 1 dz jalapeno bean. When I got home 20 minutes later I discovered that I didn't get the jalapeno pork but just jalapeno. I attempted to call the store twice, but understand they are busy so no one answered, then I called the operator, again with no answer. I have been going to that store since the opened at that location with no problems. I'm going back to the store to see how this turns out when I try to get the jalapeno pork.

My mom used to work in a tamale shop and has made tamales for years for our family. Dare I say, these are some of the best tamales I've ever had. They are small, but flavor packed. Great ratio of masa to filling. For those complaining about the taste...idk where y'all went, but it wasn't here.

Trash. Every time I have tried tamales from "Delicious Tamales" over the past few years it's the same, underseasoned and a foul aftertaste. It's not just a Covid thing, this place simply sucks. The latest batch tastes like they spent a year in the freezer.

Sadly the tamales were not good. I bought 1 dozen to try. The flavor was good, but they couldn't be removed from the husk or they would fall apart. Maybe too much lard, not sure. They were completely deformed as if packed too tightly or maybe the masa was not spread evenly. I needed 10 dozen for a party but decided not to get them at this location (Sonterra).

We purchased pork tamales as well as bean tamales. Both types were delicious and very popular with my guests
