Our family of six tried Korean BBQ for the first time. I am writing this review to recognize the outstanding work ethic of the ONLY two workers (waiter and cook) in the restaurant today. Our waiter was serving over five tables with huge parties all at once. You would think our service would have sucked because of that, but he was on his game. Throughout the whole experience, the server maintained a positive attitude; was extremely attentive; and brought everything out so quickly. Shame on the restaurant owners and management for putting all that stress on the only two workers in the building, which is why I gave a 4/5 star review. That was disappointing and disgusting to witness. As an individual who works in the service industry, I hope the owners recognize how incredibly hard they worked. Those two men deserve a raise or to be paid time and a half for working the job of what should be two-three waiters and cooks.

The first red flag was there being only 3 tables there on a Friday night. We couldn’t order any alcohol and the sprite was watered down. Then the food came out and the appetizers were absolutely terrible. The salad had more water in the bottom than dressing. The meat was the best part. My husband and I shared the 3 meats and between the 2 of us it was $100!! It was his first time trying Korean bbq and this experience was deplorable to say the least

New to the area and tried this place out as it was the closest Korean BBQ to where we live. My wife and I really wanted to like this place, but it came up short. Walked in for lunch and interior was nice. At the time we were the only customers. There was one server whose name was Taylar and she was so sweet and the only bright spot of our visit. The side dishes were old and bland. Salad was ok, but the lettuce wraps weren't fresh. While bringing out the meat she said we would have to wait for the brisket as the person in the back was slicing it. A little later we asked about the brisket, and she said the person in the back wouldn't listen to her and was doing his own thing...thats weird. More time passes and poor Taylar is on the phone and texting her manager because the person in the back isn't cooperating. We weren't getting the meat we wanted and a soup we ordered was taking forever to come out. Finally, after 2 meat plates we were fed up and decided to leave. To make it right, Taylar only charged us for one person. She was visibly upset at the situation and apologized to us. Will try other Kbbq restaurants in the future.

Food was good for the most part, shrimp were not good at all. Extremely difficult to peel and not very appetizing. At the end of meal after the manager walked by to inspect our table we were told we were being charged $15 for not eating the last 3 shrimp. So we cooked and ate them as the manager watched us telling us, “you can do it, you should eat faster” really ruined the experience and was quite frustrated leaving. Not sure who the old management was, but for a restaurant advertising brand new management, seems like they struck out twice. Don’t recommend

Came here to try it out because the waiting list for K Pot was too long. Big Mistake. It Took us forever to order because apparently our server was busy (which another server told us). Why not send another server to take our order or THAT server who told us she was busy to take our order. Then once we finally had our order taken we didn't receive veggies or napkins we asked for on our first round okay cool, getting worse. On our second round of meat we never got our third meat that was ordered or rice. I asked our server about it each time she walked by and was told she was checking on it, but it never came and we sat there watching the servers talk to each other. Finally I had to get a little upset just to get our food 25 minutes later. Not sure what their policy is on changing the grill but we watched other tables get theirs changed, and we never did. After not being able to get drink refills either we gave up, paid and left. To top all of that off it was so dirty underneath to table as you see in my picture it coated my legs in some sticky film. Huge mistake coming here. We will definitely wait in line for K Pot next time.

We celebrated my Husband's birthday at HON MACHI Korean BBQ, where Claire took excellent care of us. She explained the policy kindly but firmly before serving us—no leftovers to go, with a $15 charge, just like other ALL YOU CAN EAT places. The food was delicious, and the service top-notch. Unfortunately, at a nearby table, a very rude customer refused to pay the leftover charge, making a scene. Claire handled it with grace. She's sweet and incredibly helpful—a gem in customer service.
