Hungry Farmer Steakhouse

We stopped in for the first time today. The service was great! Chardonnay was so attentive and friendly. She made us feel very valued. Great atmosphere and our steak was perfect. Highly recommend.

Don't really waste your time. Even on the lunch service. The food was extremely bland. The salad was basically a bunch of green lettuce that came out of an H-E-B bag. The fries had absolutely no seasoning to them. The only thing that was decent was the patty melt but even that was small for the $14 price tag. My dad picked up the table but I saw on one of the menus online that they even charged for water. I'm not sure if that's still true or not. I feel this restaurant puts absolutely no effort into making quality food that doesn't look so Bland. I mean the salad was just green leaves. No red onions or cheese or tomatoes. There's just no effort into making their food look appealing

We had a very nice lunch. The chopped steak was juicy and cooked well, the onions were awesome

Stopped by here when i came to town to visit family, and i left highly disappointed. A complete waste of my time and money. The chicken fried stake was unseasoned, and the steak my husband ordered was well undercooked. Not to mention while we’re sitting down we noticed roaches crawling around the restaurant and in the bathrooms. Extremely unhealthy and unsanitary. I don’t feel comfortable ever bringing my family here again to eat undercooked food ever again. Management seems to not care about the complaints either and seems as if the place is just spiraling and getting worse. I’d stay away from here.

I’ve been here a few times over the years and it’s just getting worse and worse. Roach infestation, service is terrible. Food is not worth what I pay. Definitely would not recommend this place.

Services is amazing, atmosphere is amazing, steaks are poor. Ordered the largest steak…let me tell you this thing was thin. This steak was the one they cut up to sell at chilis. The dinner roll was stale and plain. Wifie got the T-bone and that steak was cooked perfect and looked amazing…was kind of dry but it was too be expected. The salad and baked potato was honestly the best part of the meal…$92.03 was not a good price to pay for something that would have been done better at longhorns or Texas Roadhouse and I guarantee there would have been no steak left on my plate. Went with a big party.Two people that went with us took one bite of their steak and called it quits! Over priced for terrible place to eat.Be ye warned! Asked for a burger and waitress told me to go next door lol.

The food was not edible and the waitress was the most rude and disrespectful person I’ve ever encountered in the service industry.
Steak was mot prepared properly to the point you couldn’t chew it and the manager came out and agreed. This place will be out of business soon if it continues this type of service and business.

Food was awful, absolutely awful. The manager was very very rude, unprofessional. Looked like a hot mess. She yelled at me for being slow to pay, I’m elderly and was trying to get my card out and she was screaming at me because I was slow. I ordered a he chicken strips ($15) and it was frozen food, compressed meat. We also ordered T-bone steak ($25) and it was terrible. Rubbery, couldn’t chew. Had to spit it out. Couldn’t eat it. The manager was rude to us, yelling at me because we complained about the food. I believe the manager should be fired. We will never ever eat here again. How does this place remain open?

the food was terrible. I ordered a t-bone ($25). medium rare. it was rubbery hard to chew. it was as if it was “fake” meat. it didn’t even bleed, hard to cut. I couldn’t eat it. The manager was very rude. she did take the steak off the bill but was very rude about it. The salad was just lettuce and some of our salads were brown. the rolls were hard as bricks. . the chicken strips were frozen food item, compressed meat. the hamburger steak was cold and tasteless. i’m surprised this place stays open. I would not recommend this place. stay away.
