Absolutely fantastic place in the heart of San Antonio! Its superb walkability from the Alamo and nearby attractions, along with its impeccably clean rooms with stylish design, exceptional staff, and room with nice views, truly make it a place worth revisiting. The hotel was nice and the room clean.We booked and paid for a riverwalk room and they did not have one upon our arrival. It was late and the front desk person great and said they would address it with manager as soon as they arrived in the morning. They did and changed our room. The staff at the bar and restaurant were exceptional especially Christian at the bar & Fernando at breakfast dining- they went out of their way to make our experience great.

We checked in at 11 o'clock. We had an event at 5 o'clock, and we still didn't have our room by 4 o'clock. When I inquired at the desk, they said they were very full and could not accommodate us. I said we had an event at 5 o'clock and needed a place to change our clothes. They had us change our clothes in the bathroom nearest the front desk. We asked for water to be in a room when we arrived. Our room finally was given to us at 4 o'clock. However, we were already on our way to our event. We finally got in our room and found out that the rain showerhead did not work. there was no water waiting for us at all. The staff at the front desk on our arrival on Wednesday were very very rude. On Thursday night, the sink leaked all over the bathroom floor. When they came to periodically, give us new towels, they never gave us new glasses or new coffee cups. The only redeeming person was Greg at the concierge desk he was phenomenal. I would not recommend this hotel. We made reservations in November. We should've been able to get into our room on time. Secondly, they would not allow us to have the late checkout like I asked for 2 o'clock. I called the front desk and inquired about my 2 o'clock check out and they said I had to check out by noon, I would not recommend this to anyone

We had exceptional service from the Valet team here at Hyatt Regency; specifically from Mateo, James, Joey and Jacob who went above and beyond to make sure our Tesla was charged by morning. Staff was professional and courtesy and helped unload and load our vehicles and even opened our doors. We would definitely use their valet services again! Lobby and rooms were clean and we had no issues with a late check out due to booking with their spa. Spa is currently flooded out so they’re in temporary rooms but the staff was friendly and did a great jobWalkability: Right by riverwalk and shops

The staff were extremely nice! Most notably Matt their GM, Jose in maintenance, and the security team. We ran into a few bumps in the road with our stay but they helped smooth them over and were extremely kind and gracious in the process.
I had a dreadful experience with this hotel, mainly due to their reservations department. The staff was not only rude but also shockingly inept. My experience with their staff was met with incompetence and a complete lack of professionalism. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for accommodation.

Amazing hotel, located in a prime location. The Riverwalk access is beautiful, and the rooftop pool area will not disappoint. Rooms are spacious and upgrades can be available for reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

If you're okay with bare bones rooms and fairly lousy service because you want a stellar location, this is the place for you.Pros:Rooms have hardwood floors.CleanQuietLocation! Right on the river walk in the center of the main restaurant area.Cons:Rooms have absolutely no storage. No drawers, no closet (a tiny area for hanging things by the door). No bedside tables, just a shelf.No microwave.Bathroom is the size of a half bath. (See picture)Weirdly, the toilet paper holder is only a few inches from the floor and the bathroom is so small the only place for the trash can is directly under the toilet paper (see picture).Horrible service. Don't waste your time trying to get housekeeping to come do the room. We've been waiting for almost 7 hours and called twice to see when they'd be here. Each time, they say they'll be right up, but no-show.All in all, not a class act.San Antonio Riverwalk is a great place to visit though.
