Service was basically nonexistent, the atmosphere is outdated and it was completely silent so could use some background music but the food 100% makes up for everything, so good!

Food here is amazing. We tried the beef bulgogi, bi bim bap, and the spicy kimchi soup. All were just absolutely delicious. If you get a chance to come eat here at the minimum don't leave without trying the kimchi soup (has a good spicy level too).

I ordered doordash to my motel. Japchae was good. Was super excited for the tteokbokki and asked for it to be extra spicy. Ended up being sweet so that was disappointing.

Chinese owner and staff... I'm leaving all the food behind. The soju is also a strange brand, perhaps to cut costs... I'm afraid the locals will misunderstand the taste of Korean food.

The one server working was clearly overwhelmed. Mandu was good. Spicy chicken bulgogi was just cooked chicken with sauce drizzled on top. No marinade, little flavor. The kimchi jigae was undercooked. Would not recommend or eat here again. There’s better Korean food in SA.

Needed a place to eat late night and found this gem! All of the food was 10/10. Customer service was fantastic - they were so patient explaining what some of the foods were!Ordered the kimbap, rice cakes, and soon du bu (spicy seafood, tofu soup) to go. Also included free banchan.Spicy rice cakes 10/10 - On the sweeter side and not too spicy. The tteobokki was the right consistency - chewy but still soft. The sauce is on the runnier side.Kimbop 10/10 - Perfect amount of sesame oil - very faint but still there! The rice is fresh. Each kimbop piece had the right filling ratio.Soon du bu 10/10 - They don't skimp on the fillings for this! The broth was very rich and mildly spicy. Would be so good to warm up on chilly days.I don't eat banchan much so I can't comment.Packaging 10/10 - I was worried the rice cakes would spill but they packed it in a bag already - so smart.

From start till finish i enjoyed this place. They sat us down quickly and politely and the waiter was very attentive the whole time. The standard sides were good if a bit generic. The kimbop rolls were an unexpected treat. But this is a bbq place and that's what we came for. The bbq pork belly was better than most, and certainly the best ive had in the area. The kimchi chigae, which is my go-to meal, was also the best I've had in a long time. I haven't been everywhere in SA but my stop here was especially pleasant.

Kimbab roll was good. But oredered a chicken dish that can also be made at a mexican restaurant. Was not impressed at all. Ordered hot tea and was given a tea bag in a coffe cup. I am used to getting a teapot with jasmine tea ,etc, when ordering hot tea. Guess not all places are the same. I can get a whole box of jasmine tea bags at grocery store for what I was charged for that One tea bag at restaurant.Kimbab roll was only good appetizer I liked. Unfortunately I will Not visit or order from here ever again.

This is not authentic Korean food, despite having Korean owners. I’m half Korean from my mother’s side, and I know what real Korean food is. They (the restaurant) didn’t even use pepper flakes in their dishes. The japchae was runny and horrible, used the cheap thin noodles. The kimchi was the “bad fresh”. Every real Korean knows you need to leave it out to sour for a few days. The one redeeming quality of the restaurant was the waiter. White kid, speaks fluent Korean, and reads/writes Hangul. Kid was super nice, and even spoke in Korean to us. He gets a 5/5, the restaurant itself gets 1/5.

I was in town (I live in Katy) visiting a friend I served in the Army with and got a few things to go. I really enjoyed the food here. I ordered the yaki mandu and kalbi. The banchan was delicious and there was plenty of food left for me to have seconds of later that evening.
