Its been a while ordering from here so my husband and i decided to get dinner here for the both of us and my MIL...the chicken fried steak was so thin and flavorless, not even the batter did justice; with that price he couldve got a way better one else honestly. The I&10 shrimp sizes were humorous, more salad shrimp not a entree for a plate, and the fries were soggy. The san antonio plate the sides didnt fill the size of the side portions, fish and tenders had no flavor; the country alone didnt help bcoz that also was flavorless and seemed watered down. We know now why we dont frequent j anthonys, and it seems like theyre getting worst...sorry just giving a honest review!

This place is so wonderful! The food is incredible and the people are so nice, they have something on the menu for everyone. I originally found this place looking for somewhere new to take my S/O and even someone as picky as him really fell in love with the place.

Place looks dirty inside. Ordered to go. It’s been remodeled guess it’s been awhile since I’ve stopped there. Fish had no flavor. Fries were horrible and soggy, my drive was 15 minutes from there. Fish and shrimp stayed warm. Shrimp was large and delicious, I must say. I asked for extra tartar sauce for a 6 piece and only got 2 small ones. I wasn’t informed the order came with coleslaw. I thought that was my large tartar sauce. Did get plenty of lemons as I wanted which helped flavor the fish. Happened to be on the south side so I stopped but I won’t go out of my way again.

Went to the one on South Presa - Yuck! Place needs deep cleaning. I ordered 2 piece plate with mash potatoes and corn. Fish was terrible the potatoes were cold and tasted as if they were mixed with water. Forget the corn, no taste.

We order 20 pc fish meal, and 12 pc mushrooms and this is what we got . Mushrooms looked like they were reheated. Count wasn’t even 12 . Fish looks like they took a bite out of it. We ordered online . Food looks disgusting. We will never come to this location again.

Walked in and all workers were into the back with people who are not employed here. Someone with dirty boots came out walking from the kitchen and noticed the floor was just a mess. Kitchen looked unsanitary and cook was back there frying fish with no gloves. Decided I was better off going somewhere else

Hadn’t gone in a while, and although the place looks almost the same as before, it’s not as closed in as it felt before, the staff were friendly, the food was hot and I always get the family fish and some shrimp ? love it and the prices are always reasonable.
