Worst service ever, walked in to the restaurant and it was not busy at the register no one. Some girls on the back on their phone. Finally one came to the front and took the order. The restaurant look dirty, felt dirty. They brought the food to the table and the food did not taste good was very disappointed and honestly would not go back. I been here in the past and was just not good. I’m surprised the restaurant is open.

Food is always good, but why do yall shut off the drink machine and dump out the tea 15 minutes before yall close when there is still guest eating

J Anthony is my go to for fried catfish when I want to dine out. The fillets have gotten smaller over the years. I go to them over other fish spots for the sides the steamed veggies are super tasty and they give you big portions of carrots, potatoes etc

Thursday July 24, 2025 I decided to take my 92 yrs old mom some fish. It was drive thur and it was noon time. I order 6 pieces of fish and the lady told me that they just drop fresh fish so it will be awhile, no problem. When I got to my mom's house I noticed that the fish was toasted. The CRUST was toast dark brown and tasted bad. If I was near I would have returned the fish. My poor mom just removed the crust and ate the inside but the taste was not good. I was so disappointed that they did not care of what they were selling to me. If something is burned throw it away and redo it. I wouldn't have mind waiting a little bit longer. After all this years, you just lost me as a customer.

This place while it may not be extravagant the fish and and their other platters are chefs kiss! The service was also superb. Thank you J Anthony's for a great dinner.

Everyone is so nice at this location wouldn't recommend the other one but this location makes you feel welcomed and place is clean and very comfortable with these hot days in July

I really like their fried fish and their super delicious soup.

We were really looking forward to trying J Anthony’s, but unfortunately, our experience fell short. We placed an order that exceeded $85 that included two ceviches, which were completely missing when we picked up our food. Mistakes happen, but what really frustrated us was the complete lack of customer service afterward.

We called the number provided on Google as soon as we noticed the issue, and waited on the line for 17 minutes with no answer or call back. No one ever picked up, and we were left with incomplete meals and no way to get it resolved.

This kind of service is completely unacceptable—especially when it comes to food orders where people are counting on getting what they paid for. Really disappointed.

We need a refund for the food never received.
