Delicious food, affordable prices

I really like their fried fish and their super delicious soup.

We were really looking forward to trying J Anthony’s, but unfortunately, our experience fell short. We placed an order that exceeded $85 that included two ceviches, which were completely missing when we picked up our food. Mistakes happen, but what really frustrated us was the complete lack of customer service afterward.

We called the number provided on Google as soon as we noticed the issue, and waited on the line for 17 minutes with no answer or call back. No one ever picked up, and we were left with incomplete meals and no way to get it resolved.

This kind of service is completely unacceptable—especially when it comes to food orders where people are counting on getting what they paid for. Really disappointed.

We need a refund for the food never received.

Oh! I loved it. I haven't been in over 5 years, and it was just as I remembered it.
The young lady at the counter was very helpful and the dining area was so clean and very presentable.
I will be going back soon.

my husband and i came here to eat because i was craving catfish and everything about this place was perfect, the servers were so sweet and attentive and the food was delicious, i am from florida so i am used to fresh seafood and theirs was fresh and yummy. i also really loved the decor and homestyle atmosphere of the restaurant. hands down my favorite seafood place in san antonio we will definitely be back.

This use to be my favorite seafood restaraunt. I been going to the original since I was a kid. Seems to me when they franchised they lost the infrastructure and the quality and quantity, not to mention taste and service has gone so far down that I don't believe it will make it much longer.

I ordered the family 20 pc. fish online order. The food was great, the fish was freshly fried the greens beans were spectacular. I loved it. My parents have never eaten Jay Anthony's food and they were impressed. Will order again soon!
