I loved the food. The service was top notch! I got the lambchop lollipops and they were heaven. The American wagyu steak was cooked perfectly and the flavor was out of this world. Then we got the bananas foster and it was rich and creamy with the ice cream. I loved it 💕 One of us got the chocolate cake it was massive, definitely a dessert to share.

Clarisa was our waitress and she was nothing short of amazing. Very attentive, paid attention to us without us having to look for her, great personality, and overall, she had a positive attitude. We have nren going to J Prime for over 10 years, We made reservations on Dec 12 for 4, celebrating 2 birthdays and 1 anniversary. Our server McKenzie was very upset, she had been working 6 days straight and was upset her next day off was until Monday. So, we had a TERRIBLE SERVICE. We were rushed in our dinning expierience, while eating our meals, servers were crossing over our table picking up plates, silverware and glasses. We had not even ordered dessert. It was just a terrible expierience. JPrime always gave us best service which made us return often. WHAT HAPPENED TO J PRIME. So disappointed. We asked to speak with management and I have yet to hear from them. Where is another good steakhouse in San Antonio where we can enjoy our dinner and not be rushed out.
Keith was the best waiter ever! The food was of course amazing but he made the entire experience here so great. I would absolutely go back here just to have him as my waiter again. I hope everyone has him!

Nice place to stop and eat on your way home coming leaving Stone oak area. The food was good with great service, drinks very pricey, a small spicy margarita for 26 bucks and it wasn't even spicy no added jalapeño or anything but other then that it was acceptional and I would return .

This was our first time at J-Prime and we absolutely loved it! The service was amazing, thank you, Amanda! And the food was utterly fantastic!!! My husband and I would both highly recommend it for a delicious and delightful experience.
I recently just ate at J Prime for the first time and I was extremely impressed with the service, atmosphere and the food. Izzie was my waitress and I do have to give her a huge shout out as she went above and beyond for us!!! She never let our drinks run dry and you could really tell she cared that we had a great experience. 10/10 will definitely be back because of her!

My steak was undercooked and room temp at best when it was brought out. I couldn’t eat it because the bacon wrapping my filet was raw. Everyone else at my table was happy with their steaks. There was so much food on the table that I was plenty full, but it was disappointing that they just gave a discount rather than taking it off the bill entirely, especially considering our bill was over a thousand dollars. The service was polite but slow. They switched waiters after our appetizer and it took over 30 minutes to get a bottle of wine. It wasn’t terrible, just not 5 star or what you’d expect for an establishment like this.

We had the best experience as a family and a large party here. From the service to the food. We left beyond fulfilled and happy with J Prime. We ordered everything from wine service, appetizers, NY strips, and a Tomahawk. Because we had a reservation and had to wait a little bit which we didn’t mind they still went above and beyond to give us complimentary shots. Because the birthday boy was gluten free not only did they offer a gluten free dessert for him but a slice as cake for the table as well, so those who could have gluten could enjoy. We will definitely be back just based off of the thoughtfulness and consideration this restaurant has to offer and of course the food.

I wish I could bring down more stars from the sky to thank you for the tremendous service we received on November 16th. 2025 for our daughter's birthday. Chef Beto came to our table to make sure we were satisfied with our order and that it was to our liking. The servers also gave us excellent service; they made my daughter feel like a princess. She was so excited about how exquisite the food was. The salmon was super delicious, the lobster soup, the crab cakes—everything was excellent, and her lit balloon on the side was a lovely touch, not to mention her delicious cake. Again, Chef Beto, thank you so much for all your attention. We 100% recommend J Prime Steakhouse.
