I visited this establishment while in San Antonio for work. While the food was great, the portion is sub par. I had the Curry Goat served with rice and peas with plantain. $28 for a Curry platter in my opinion is over priced, especially for the serving you get. I could only imagine what the oxtail cost. They are priced at market value. I wish I could post a picture but it's not letting me.
Honestly, it was a bit of a let down. I got the veggie Rasta Pasta with a side of rice and Peas. The pasta had a little flavor. I give it that it just looked like noodles and veggies when I opened it and it wasn’t creamy at all more soup like and the vegetables looked and tasted like frozen vegetables, rather than fresh vegetables (I could be wrong) and I just feel like the medley could’ve went without the corn, bamboo and green peas. Jamaica Jamaica has the best Jamaican food in town, hands down. The waitress/bartender was incredibly friendly and helpful, the food was hot and delicious. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu.
