I live on the complete other side of town (downtown San Antonio) , was able to stop in grab two subs a#13 and a #7 ,Mike’s way juice on the side . 26 min car ride home subs were still nice and flavor full . My girlfriend was super stoked . We both destroyed our sandwiches before we could start are show . The General manager (Maureen) and her team were very welcoming and efficient on getting my food out in a orderly fashion.

Have to give one star on the food because today, when I ordered a giant Italian sandwich, which I have them cut in four pieces, my wife got some kind of grit which she could not identify, in her portion, spit it out; took another bite but still felt some kind of foreign grit in it. She's worried that her tooth filling may have been damaged by the grit.

I placed our order through Uber eats. The site didn’t have a way to change the type of cheese, so I called the store and asked them for American cheese on the number three. When I received the meal, I saw that this sandwich and another sandwich were made incorrectly. I called the store back and the manager, “T.K,” answered. After I explained what we got, T.K said that he personally placed the cheeses on the sandwiches and that we were wrong. T.J. took a very resistant attitude. I wanted to understand how this was my fault. T.K. hung the phone up on me. I decided that I’d go to the store to speak to T.K. When I got there, he didn’t apologize for hanging up, or their error in the sandwiches. He commenced to remake the sandwiches and told us they were free. They weren’t free if I paid for them and had to drive to the store to get it corrected because the manager hung up on me. He was extremely short with me.
Either he was telling us to pound sand on the ordered sandwiches or he doesn’t understand Uber Operations. He said his boss was the GM and his name was Giovanni.
This store used to have spectacular employees, employees who knew what customer service looked like. This gentleman set the worst example for the three employees that were watching him.

I understand I came when it’s busy and they had multiple orders to work on, but nobody helped me at all, nobody greeted me, and asked if I needed help with my order, I knew they were still working on it, but just a little communication on what’s going on with my order would be great, instead of just ignoring me as I stand there for a while waiting.

Elijah and Ruben were phenomenal! They were extremely personal and professional. Elijah lifted my day with his words and civility that today’s society is somewhat missing.

Whoever manages this place needs to listen to the employees as they express concerns. The vibe in this environment is not good. We didn't even want to order after feeling like we were an inconvenience, listening to employees complain and sensing the low morale. It would be more welcoming if a change would occur. The food was okay, but the lack of pride in the workplace carries on to the food. Leadership and higher management, get involved, listen to the associates as they express their concerns, and with the intent to resolve.
This isn't their fault it all starts with the leaders of any organization. And it's sad to see, but this place is failing with an unpleasant vibe.
