$17 for the buffet so not cheap but also very good good quality all you can eat food. The lamb slices were really good and the meatballs were fantastic.

We have been here many times when this place was Jerusalem Grill- but things have not been good since things have changed. I was over charged for each of our items for $2-$4, which was disappointing since the food was awful, I mean either way restaurants should charge ppl for the items on the menu. The beef shawarma was bad, the mixed vegetables were a joke- bland, BIG carrots, and vegetables so hard they seemed to not be cooked at all. I went to pick up my order from the restaurant, and my food was late for me to take home by 15 min. They were clearly short staffed and undermanned. We will not be back.

Been a few times, always a great experience food and service. This time however, terrible slow service. Sat for quite some time before ever being acknowledged. Had to flag down or approach server for everything after that, never checked on us the whole time. Plate came missing items that are clearly stated on the menu. Felt too uncomfortable to even complain or mention, the vibe was so off. Server would walk up to tables still chewing food. There was only one other table besides us, so they were not overwhelmed.. It felt like this great place fell into the Twilight Zone.

If you want seriously delicious Shawarma then you have to try this place. It's in the corner spot of a shopping center across from Ingram, they serve on only disposable plates with plastic cutlery and paper cups, but the food is so good we just keep going back! Don't let the location and lack of "fine dining" keep you from enjoying the best shawarma in San Antonio.

Great restaurant and very nice staff. Their food is delicious. One of my favorite places for middle eastern food.

LAmb shank is delicious. Melt in your mouth. Service is quick with fast delivery. Ate it to the bone.

Believe the recent reviews, this place has went downhill since the new management took over. The past reviews, hence the stars, are for Jerusalem Grill (which I'm hoping Yelp fixes), Jerusalem Restaurant took over and since then, the food, service and vibe has significantly changed. First, they don't take any precaution. No masks, no gloves. You also won't see them washing hands between taking payment and bringing the food to your table. Second, everything just seem so cheap for the same price your paying. For example, they use paper plates and plastic fork and knives unlike how Jerusalem Grill used to serve food. Third, the workers are rude and not friendly. Lastly, the meat is dry while those that come with the gyro sandwich is burnt! Such a waste of money. Overall, not only that you're getting bad customer service, you're also getting mediocre food. Do yourself a favor and visit the real Jerusalem Grill located in the medical center, this place doesn't even come close.

They don't even deserve a star. This is the second time we have come and they leave us sitting there for over 10 minutes. We decided to give them another chance but it's the same type of pathetic service. When we got up and walked out and we're asked are you ok? Seriously he saw us walk in and then grabbed a drink and sat down with a lady who was already eating.

Food looked good and it was delicious. Wife and I will definitely come back. We even tried their baklava and it enjoyed it.

I've never dined in before, but I always order food from here. I've tried most of the Mediterranean restaurants in the med center and this is one of the best. Super authentic. If you like Palestinian/Jordanian Arabic food, you have to try this place! The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the "pita bread", it is tasty, but it's not pita bread.

No longer affiliated with Jerusalem Grill. Food didn't come with everything the menu said it would and waitress argued about it. Pita is now prepackaged and not fresh naan. Portions are smaller and prices went up. Very bizarre Christian music blasting.

Ordered from this place on grub hub tonight. My husband is very picky when it comes to getting take out. For him to be happy it's gotta be a huge portion size and the Spices have to be in point. He raved over everything from the salad to the gyro plate. Happy husband happy wife. Great place to order from!

Pita bread had no mold, that was a relief (checked it because of an old Yelp review). It was nicely warmed to accompany our meal. Grape leaves were delicious! A very nice serving for 2-3 people. Grill chicken kabob was juicy and the beef kabob was bursting with flavor! Also juicy. Finally, some good kabobs in San Antonio. Hummus was on the saltier side, but it balanced with the chicken that didn't have much salt. The garlic sauce served on the side had a nice kick. Fries are crispy yet soft, great bite. Salad served on the side was packed with flavor. I could taste the love in the cooking. The place has a nice homey , family friendly ambience. I'll definitely return.

I was on San Antonio, TX for Zumba (in late August 2021). My flight had just landed but my hotel room wasn't ready yet... so with a rental car and a quick search on Yelp, I ended up at Jerusalem Restaurant. After inspecting the menu and couldn't decide, I ended up with Mixed Grill Kabob Plate. I chose 1 beef, 1 chicken, and 1 lamb. Of the 3 meats - Beef Kofta was my favorite! Food was fresh and delicious. ENJOY!!
